This is based on Scouts Inc.'s rankings.

POSSIBLE PICKS WITH TRADE UP: S Minkah Fitzpatrick (6), S Derwin James (12), DT Vita Vea (11)

POSSIBLE PICKS AT 19: DT Da'Ron Payne (15), LB Rashaan Evans (17)

FALLBACKS AT 19: WR Calvin Ridley (18), OG Will Hernandez (22)

POSSIBLE PICKS WITH TRADE DOWN: S Ronnie Harrison (35), DT Harrison Phillips (36) Fallbacks: WR D.J. Moore (34), WR Christian Kirk (31), OG Isaiah Wynn (32)

As a bonus, here's the players available around pick 50, according to the rankings, that would seem to best fit needs: S Jessie Bates III (44), LB Leighton Vander Esch (69), DT Tim Settle (59). Possible fallbacks: S Justin Reid (43), WR D.J. Chark (55), WR James Washington (60), OT Mike McGlinchey (45), WR Courtland Sutton.

NOTE; Many seem to be putting LVE much higher than this.

Frankly, I hope we don't go with a receiver or OL in the first or second rounds and focus on defense, but it depends on how the draft falls. If we're at 19 and Fitzpatrick, James, Vea, Payne and Evans are all gone, I'd have no problem with Ridley or Hernandez although I'd rather trade down for Harrison or Phillips. It seems like we are sort of in no man's land with the safeties with Fitzpatrick and James ranked too high for our first-round pick and Harrison, Bates and Reid in between our first- and second-round picks.

I think it's pretty safe to say Round 1 is going to be Ridley or defense other than 1Tech.

If one of the top tier guys falls, like who you had in the trade up (except possibly Vea but who knows) you take them. I think they'd take Roquan over Evans but he's probably going higher.

Round 2 is just a cluster at this point. Just based on value it looks like there's going to be a ton of guys there. If we don't take Ridley round 1 then Chark might be in play if he falls.

I have a feeling someone's going to drop we may not expect in round 2. I also think we might use one of our 4ths to move up in the 2nd or 3rd. I could see safety. Honestly I think Reid, Bates, or even Terrell Edmunds could be good value here. I like Settle a lot too, Phillips, if McGlinchey is there id have 0 problem taking him.

But yeah, there's no telling who will be there, just stick to BPA and we should get pretty good value though.

no way LvE or McGlinchey are anywhere near the 2nd Rd.

if Ridley is on the board,he's the pick.
really good chance he is off the board before we pick....
LB LVE,Boise St
OG Will Hernandez,Utep
OT Connor Williams,Texas
one of them will be the pick at 19....my guess today...LVE.

I will be surprised if Ridley is selected too many Defensive Needs

Yes, I didn't project Roquan in a trade up because we might could stand pat and get Evans. Of course, I guess the same could be said about Vea since Payne is ranked close to where we pick. A trade-up would make the most sense for one of the safeties, because neither Fitzpatrick nor James is expected to even possibly make it to our pick and there seems to be a distinct drop-off to the next safety group.

I would think that the only way Ridley would be selected is if we make some other moves with our current receivers. Now, it's possibly that if the defensive candidates are gone, we draft Ridley and then shop other receivers during the draft to pick up some picks or move up.

If Payne is there at 19, I would love that pick. I doubt Vea makes the fall that far but you never know.

A beast 1-tech is what this defense needs to take the next step. Collins can’t stay healthy and Ash isn’t the answer.

If we can’t have Payne i would also be happy with Phillips in the 2nd. There are some other 1tech DTs that we could add later on for more depth but those dudes will just be more average rotational JAGs, Not quality starters imo. All the DL needs an upgrade, including depth players.

I just don't see Ridley as a Cowboys.......With 4 Weeks to go roughly I think the players most like in play for us are :

Van Eschen
Hernandez
Davenport
Payne.....

In no particular order....

I think if the FO is unhappy with the remaining defenders at 19 they’ll either trade back for more picks in the 2&3 or take an OL or TE over WR.

The only positions the Cowboys have ruled out for the first round are QB, RB and CB. Other than that, I think they'll take the Best Player Available. If they don't think a player is available they like, then they will attempt to trade back. There may be a couple of players they might be willing to move up for.

I honestly don't believe the Cowboys are locked in on any specific player. They are looking at WR, DT, DE, LB, S, OL. I don't believe they have looked at any 1st round rated TE's, but we don't have full information just yet. If a high value player drops to them, they'll take him regardless of need. If not, they'll settle for a trade back, with an eye to getting 3 players that are rated as 2nd round picks, like they did a year ago.

I can't see us spending a first-rounder on an end not with Lawrence and last year's first-rounder.

Tight end would surprise me. I'm not saying it would be a bad pick considering that Witten doesn't have long left. I just don't think Dallas would prioritize it over equal players at other positions.

I don't think they are locked into one specific position, but I think the moves they've made or haven't made are fairly telling if all things are equal.

I agree, I just think it’s more likely than a WR after the FA signings and only if their defensive/OL targets are already off the board.

A DLaw, Taco and Davenport rotation would be pretty nice though. It would also give some leverage for the FO when it comes time to pay DLaw next year.

I couldn’t stand ANOTHER wasted tight end pick.

I don’t know much about the receivers but Equanimeous St. Brown seems like a monster after the catch......

with the news last night that DaRon Payne,DT-Alabama is here on a official visit...plus the caravan to bama's pro day...my re-vised list.
•Ridley
•Payne
•LVE
one of those 3 will be the pick.
my guess today...Payne...if he is off the board...LVE.

I don't think Ridley will slide past Baltimore at 16. Ozzie Newsome loves his 'Bama boys and this will be his
final draft as GM.
