0 rookie QBs have won a Super Bowl.

No, we are not Super Bowl contenders, it's highly unlikely we break that long standing trend.

No one thought that a kid in the 4th round would break Brady's pass streak and light it up like he has. Stats & records get broken from time to time. Are the Cowboy's Super Bowl Contenders? Absolutely. This team is better than the 2014 team, as we were a hair from doing serious damage and going further. My feet are on the ground and things can change and go south pretty quickly, but at the moment anyone that doesn't put them up with Minnesota, Seattle and Atlanta doesn't know anything about football.

I don't believe in the Vikings because they don't have the offense to stick with us, and I believe we can run against them. Seattle is the team that I think gives us the most trouble come playoff time if we get there.

Atlanta is the only team that scares me at this point. If that offense gets out to an early lead, playing catch-up is much more difficult than playing from the front and controlling the ball.

The good news is......Atlanta usually cools down come playoff time :D

Right now only ready to talk about game vs Philly do not even want to think about the S word. As far as I will go with SB talk is we have a better chance than some and not as good as others.
First goal, get into the playoffs and beating the eagles puts you in the driver seat for the playoffs
It's fun for fans to look ahead but the team only needs to worry about one game at a time and that starts with the eagles
If you get into the playoffs then you are a super bowl contender

well we haven't won a super bowl since clinton was in office and since umm another clinton will be in office in a couple of weeks it could be history repeating.

LOL, although technically she wont be in office til Jan. 20th, but that is still before the SB.......That would be an odd fact though if we wound up back in our first SB since Bill, right as soon as Hillary becomes POTUS.....

There is a huge difference of breaking a individual stat (One that was almost broken by another rookie QB just this year) and breaking a trend that was set since the Super Bowl came to be.

At 5-1, they aren't Super Bowl contenders. They have had a good start to the regular season, there are some young guys playing with and veterans stepping up...for now. But again, it's 5-1, the regular season gets harder and harder as it goes on and teams that were once cold get hot and hot teams get cold and get steamrolled in the most important months of the regular season.

I'm not calling any team in the league, maybe outside of the Patriots, Super Bowl contenders. I sure as hell won't be calling us Super Bowl contenders if Dak stays at QB.

There is a first time for everything.

Just because we have a rookie QB does not exclude us from being contenders.

Anything can happen, the Browns could win out and make the playoffs and win the Super Bowl. But I'm not going to put money down on it. Same as I'm not putting my money down on Dak being the first rookie QB to win a Super Bowl.

But hey, you keep that hope alive!

Presently, like it or not, the Cowboys are as good as any club in the NFL. Suck on it! Can they win a SB... The FO needs to stiffen up the defense. The offense is solid and set. This Dfense could surprise a few top teams...make o mistake. I would feel real good about a serious SB run next season with Prescott and Elliott leadind a tough old time Dallas Defense. Defense wins the SB. Dallas is not that far away. Believe it.

This is a very good club. I would like to see more passrush and some anger on the defense. But, its a top club. There is some spirit now that has been missing for years. I would like to see some nasty on the defense like there is on the Offensive Line.

I would rather have a crappy team than another clinton in office. The country comes before football.

When you factor in that the cards and panthers have looked like crap you could add Dallas in there.

Why do I get the impression from your posts that you would rather have us lose with Dak and you be "proven right" than us win with him?
