First Take at the Star, Jerry and Michael Irvin joining SAS

Pass. You won't be able to understand a word coming out of anyone's mouth. Stephen A Smith and Michael Irvin will be screaming over each other and when Jerry gets a chance to talk he will sound like he is already half of a bottle deep into a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label. The only thing that could make the show worse is if Jerry brought along Junior (Stephen) so we could hear him mumbling "daddy don't say that" in the background.

LOL

Why do people watch this scripted garbage? His bit hasn't ever changed, its old already.

His bit would change if the result changed. Every single year it is: Cowboys have a start that makes you think this is the year, Cowboys reach big game either at last game of season or early in playoffs, Cowboys lose very winnable game in a very close way that causes frustration. This has happened every single bloody year. It is insane how many times the cycle keeps repeating.

As long as old acts generate new dollars, the old will always be new.
Face it: the Dallas Cowboys make it rain.

Jerry knows it.
ESPN knows it.
NBC knows it.
CBS knows it.
FOX knows it.
Stephen A. knows it.
Colin Cowherd knows it

And they're going to pull those COWboy teats as long as they're producing milk.

Liked for use of the word "teats."

Maybe, but really this is only a big deal because its the Cowboys and they draw viewers. Half the league you could say this same thing about. It's been 26 years since the Cowboys have won it all, but that's still better than half the league + Houston who doesn't have a championship but has only been around 20 years. Just the typical results of a league with such high parity, but also such a high difficulty to win it all.

For context, just to demonstrate that it is actually far worse than you are painting it, it has been 26 years since the Cowboys last made it to a conference championship game and the only teams in the NFC who can claim anything within 15 years of that are the Lions and the Commanders (man that is a dumb name) as the Bears at 11 years have the 4th longest draught. However it is even worse than that. Outside of the Commanders and the Lions not only has every single team in the NFC made it to a conference championship game in the past 6 years but the other 13 have all made it to multiple.

These are the Cowboys. Not the lions and certainly not Washington and yet as an NFC franchise they are the equivalent of the mess in Detroit and the Dan Snyder Commanders and every other NFC team is far and away ahead in terms of playoff success.
