so sick of hearing that receivers cant win. Then why do they show replays of these guys wide open and Dak doesn't throw them the ball?

I really hope trading for Cooper pans out. I do think he is a good player and I'm not completely against the trade. But until Dak starts making teams pay with his arm I dont think adding Cooper will matter much.

Although I've said that I don't believe Dak is the future, there is a lot that goes into hitting "wide open" receivers. Most plays are designed with multiple things for the QB to read. He reads the defensive alignment and knows where the ball is supposed to go. If the defense adjusts after the snap, then he's supposed to read that and know where the ball is supposed to go.

If the primary reads aren't winning those matchups, then he has to progress through his receivers. There may be an open player, but it's a question of whether he gets to that read in time, or sometimes by the time he gets there, the window has closed.

I'm not saying this is happening on every play. I don't think Dak is doing a good job of reading the defense. I don't think he's comfortable throwing to NFL open receivers. However, I also can't just look at an open receiver and say the QB was at blame for not seeing him. It isn't like he can see the whole field at once.

I think they did a bit of a comb-over and used Jimmy Johnson type hair spray (glue) to hold it in place.
