He definitely played it up. Hanging out in the tunnel timing his entrance so as to get a loud, dramatic applause from the crowd.

It reeked of a Vince McMahon production.

He learned from the king of histrionics -- Favre.

Actually it's incredibly easy.

Also why does having a good O-line disqualify a QB? It never has before.

Case in point the Patriots had the number 1 rushing attack in Brady's first mvp season and the number 11 rushing attack in his second.

I can promise you they didn't do that without a strong offensive line.

Im not discounting Romo or Murray because of it.

The only person I will discount is Jason Garrett. He still sucks but he has benefited from doing less coaching and the Cowboys Oline imposing their will on the ground.

I think it has to be Romo between him and Murray. Murray has been great, but it would be easier to duplicate Murray's performance with someone else than it would Romo's, all other things the same.

Romo is the MVP and he proved it. The team is 12-4. Romo wasn't healthy for each of the 4 losses. When Romo was healthy and had his normal routine during the week, the team was 12-0. You can't get anymore valuable to your team than that.

Murray's success makes it easier for Romo, and vice versa. But I give Romo the edge over Murray for the fact he played with his bad back and still did what he did. Amazing.

You and khiladi, I think, are the only hold-outs we've still got, aren't you? Anybody else still way out there on that shaky 'our head coach sucks' limb?

Look up Romo's career highlights. You couldn't be more wrong. Rodgers is good but he ain't no Tony.

Throw Rodger's calf in and I'll raise you a broken rib, punctured lung, collar bone, torn cartilage, fractured vertebrae.

Take your Rodgers jersey back. Tonys is worth more.

Cowboys fan or not, I'd say the same thing.

LMAO! You're delusional.

I'll keep saying, he played that up for the cameras and for this award. He knew that game was in the bag and he could miss a series or so. The whole cart ride off, laying on the ground, coming back out of the tunnel to play up the crowd. Nothing more than a WWF event.

He's a loser.

Agree - and notice how he ignored the play call and did the QB sneak to get his TD on a bad calf just to get the score?

That little scamp Rodgers - knew EXACTLY what he was doing.

Skip said Rodgers injury was exaggerated by him and he didn't come out with the team for dramatic effect. Both didn't think Rodgers deserved it basically because of some of his performances over the last month.

I said the same thing last night and didn't buy into this injury as was demonstrated. Rogers wasn't hobbling much after he came back and I think he set it up so he can look like a hero. He even waited in the tunnel to pick the right time to come out again. All for his ego and MVP award.

Sadly, Rodgers locked it up with that Seabiscuit routine

Both Dallas and GB would be screwed without their QBs

Romo has played more hurt than most QB's this season alone. I think it was reported that along with his transverse fracture, he had a cracked rib too. Rodgers, I believe over-embellished his quad injury. Romo deserves the title!

It may be a bit unfair to the other candidates but I think you should factor in how dominant Romo was in December and how he started the season. Everyone said he was finished. He's coming off 2 back surgeries. He has the best QB rating in the NFL. I personally think he should get it over Rodgers. But if Rodgers gets it.....its hard to argue against it. his stats are deserving of it.

Rodgers is the most stat-padding QB I've ever seen... him or Peyton. I'm still shaking my head at his Tampa Bay shenanigans.

I thought he picked Rodgers at the begininng and was arguing with SAS about Romo Vs Murray and made a case for Romo. I may have misunderstood him.

It's cool. Skip was adamant about his Romo for MVP vote.

True romo had some houdini like escapability. But age has caught up to him and now he makes his living from the pocket. Rodgers and Roethlisberger are both really good at escaping and making things happen. Probably better than Romo at this point.
