I'm finally making my way down to see the Boys in person this Sunday night. Needless to say I'm a little excited!! :)
Anyone got any tips or suggestions as far as tailgating, the stadium itself, or any nearby bars where fans gather before the game?

Thanks in advance...

Best advice I can give you is if you don't have a blue parking pass you best get yer walking shoes on and arrive plenty early. Like 3-4pm early at the latest. And what kind of bars did you have in mind exactly? There are several on NW Hwy you might check out and they are reasonably close to the stadium.

It's been awhile since I've been there, but no matter what seats you have, all of them are good!!

Enjoy (lucky bastid)!!

You will love it....

here are some things I love to do at each game. I arrive very early mind you and park in the cash lot across the bridge as far away as I can....It is only a 15 minute walk, well worth it. cash lots are 20 bucks by the way.

Once your over the bridge and outside the gates if you walk to the first gate past the pro shop you will see the tunnel where the players go in. If you are there 3 hours early you will see the giants two team busses and police escorts come in.......

John madden parks the madden cruiser right there, which I always enjoy seeing. Jerry and stephen jones always come out and greet him when he is out there....he takes a golf cart down the tunnel and into the stadium.

Al michaels will get there in a limo with a bunch of other yuppies. ho hum.

All the players park right there 10 feet in front of you.. you can watch them walk in and most of the coaches too. It is pretty cool, I still enjoy it 5 years after my first game.

If you go into the stadium right when they open the gates you can get right up as close as you want to the field, the players stretch and get loose for about an hour before the official warmup. they will have the bears chargers game on the two screens I think. sometimes they do sometimes they dont.

Its fun to see all the media for the cowboys and giants right there also, in that one endzone where the tunnels are.

enjoy the game, the first time at the stadium is always a terrific experience. You picked a good one, the place should be electric sunday night. I know I plan to do my part.
