Ok, so business is sending me down there in Oct, and I am going to be attending the Rams game on Oct 23rd. Bringing my girlfriend with me to celebrate my FIRST ever Dallas game! Haven't figured out what seats yet to get (or just a party pass) so looking for the best way to find GOOD seats but not pay an exorbitant amount for them! Any ideas would be appreciated. Checked dallascowboys.com and also stub hub, so far the seats I want seem a bit pricey (but worth it for my first game).

Also, if any of you tailgate down there, would like to meet up before the game. I will be at the stadium early to see everything, and possibly maybe get a tour in or something. Let me know if any of you don't mind a couple northerners tailgating with ya!

Thanks a lot!! Cannot wait, this has been my dream since I was 4 years old and watched my first Cowboys game!!! :starspin :starspin

make some noise while you are there

Oh I will be!! Still wish it had been Texas Stadium but always put it off and then it was too late. But I'll definitely be LOUD!!!

I tend to wait a while until it gets closer to the game. There are some great deals you can find on NFL Ticketexchange if you do it this way.

Great idea!! Definitely will be doing that then! Worse case there is always a part pass :) But would rather be up closer!

Id also keep an eye out on ebay. I got 4 turkey day tix 40ydln about 28 rows up with parking for about 650. Just gauge the market to find good deals. Gl and have fun!

Oh and make sure they do tours on the day you want. Your post sounded like you wanted a tour gameday which I'm not sure if they do or not.

Great idea! Definitely going to keep my eyes peeled closer to game day! Thanks for the info!

Didn't figure there was a tour on game day, have to see when tours are, I will be there through Wed. and HAVE to do a tour while in town!

Tours are every day but game day. Probably even game day if it is a night game. You can do the less expensive self guided tour or pay more and do the guided tour.

I might be going to this game as well. I'll let you know. I'd definitely be down to tailgate.

Congrats! Hope u have a blast. I've never been to a game in Dallas yet and would love to go...I will be going to the dec17th game in tampa....:)

It's an odd stadium to me in the sense that it seems almost too shiney and sanitary. It's an awsome structure, but almost has the feel of going to the theater instead of a football game. Of course once it fills up with people the excitement level rises and that helps a lot. The video board is a marvel. Watch for the pole dancers - that's kind of an odd twist.

Sweet. I'll PM you as the game gets closer, would be a blast to hang out with fellow Cowboys fans from the zone!

Depending on where you sit I think the monster video board can distract you from watching the action on the field. I haven't sat in the very upper tier, but those I know that have say that with the board right at eye level they couldnt help but watch teh game on the screen instead of on the field. I've sat in the 2nd tier from the bottom and didn't have that problem, but my wife does. She's drawn to the video board. If sitting toward one end I will watch the video board when the ball is at the other end.

Well I'd like to get good enough seats where that isn't a distraction, but I can see the board if I need to. What are good sections for that? Also not looking to be up in the nose bleeds either.

I can't remember section numbers, but the two times I've been I've sat on the 2nd tier - once about even with the end zone and once about the 30 yard line. You can look up Section numbers online. The video board is still well over your head in those sections, but you are high enough to see the whole field pretty well. The time I was about even with the end zone I watched the video board when the ball got to about the 30 yard line on the far end of the field so I could see the action better. Those ticket were still pretty pricey - seems like something around $220 dollars.

Thanks man!! Yeah that is a bit pricey, trying to find around $150/per. Gonna wait till closer to the game and see what I can find.

Thanks so much for the info!! :star:
