It's Fish .......but I have read a couple of other nuggets Kingsbury would be high on Jerry's list to replace MM.
Every coach was previously fired somewhere though.Jerry looks for coaches that were previously fired.
He is a former HC in this league and Jerry hiring him wouldn't surprise me at all."I think a lot of him, he’s a friend," Jones said of Kingsbury via 105.3 The Fan. "I think he’s done an outstanding job every place he’s been. I really think a lot of him and I think that he was ideal in working with the young quarterback.”
Slowik and Johnson aren’t real candidates here. Not too enthusiastic about him. Rather Slowik or Johnson (who I don’t think will come here), prefer them off kingsbury

That’s why you bring in Saleh or VrabelI’m a big Texas Tech fan and have some strong opinions about Kliff. He’s a brilliant offensive mind but a lousy HC. Remember it was Kingsbury who recruited and developed Patrick Mahomes at Tech. Somehow with the great Mahomes on board, Tech only had a winning record once.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot to like about Kingsbury, but some downers too. Here are the strengths and weaknesses Of KK as a head coach as I see it.
STRENGTHS
WEAKNESSES
- One of the most innovative in offensive scheme and play calling in football today.
- Relates well to the players.
- Hard working. A coach who lives and breathes in the film room.
- Good judge of offensive talent.
- Aggressive; not afraid to take chances.
- Develops young QBs very well.
My final take on Kliff Kingsbury is he’s an offensive genius who is a great offensive coordinator but not a great head coach. IMO he’s best as an OC.
- His teams always start well, then fade.
- His teams never seem to have a good defense. I can only surmise that he spends little time talking to his defensive coaches and players.
- Not a great disciplinarian. His teams are usually high in number of penalties.
- His personality is somewhat introverted. Doesn’t seem that inspirational to players.

They will want to bring their guys and want $$$.
Kingsbury will be happy to be a head coach again
kingsbury weakensses fit right in with what jerry jones wants for a headcoach. a coach that brings shinny fancy offense with no defense to compete in the playoffs. no way a defensive minded head coach even would want to coach this team.I’m a big Texas Tech fan and have some strong opinions about Kliff. Saleh? In three and a half years with the jets as HC he’s 20-36, no playoff appearances. He has been a great DC. Lousy HC. I just don’t see him as an upgrade here. That’s why you bring in Saleh or Vrabel
