Fish Live from Frisco: Talk on Trey Trade? DE Rumor Mill!

Gawd we're pathetic. Every year we F5ing all day long and yet we still get so disappointed lol
Tell me about it lol.

The year we were linked to the Jamal Adams trade at the deadline I was F5ing for 30+ minutes

God that was painful to watch. No info. No insight. Patting himself on the back based on how he chooses too interpret the quotes he picks and chooses. People actually watch this guy? He dresses like a 17 year old going to the gym
Stopped listening to this idiot a looooonnnnggggg time back

That's stupid, when you have a free agent like Harold Landry, who is still 28 years old and will cost you much less, not considering him and making a run trade for a player that will cost you picks and more money is stupid.

It's Fish but still some good nuggets.

I dont trust the Jones’ 58m in cap space will go like this. 10 to 11m for the draft. 15m to keep for the season. 32 left. Lewis and Rico will get about. 14m a year combined. Frst yr cap hits combined to about 8 so now you are at 24m. Doesnt leave much and we have HUGE holes and not enough draft picks. But AH stephen still has the college free agents and the street guys to choose from. He loves that they are cheap. Maybe he will sign 3 or 4m guys. Prob the best we can hope for. They don't see the urgency in signing micah so you wont get that savings on the cap. These guys are idiots. Back to 7-10 WITHOUT an injured Dak and more excuses! They dont know how to build a winning team.

Seeing the Bengals just offered Trey $30-$32 million annually, I am going to say we are out
that goes for most teams!

look, I said this before and maybe people don't pay attention but there are not many teams that pay 2 prime positions top market money at the same time it's almost unheard of so if you already have a number one that's going to get paid, like we will with Parsons we still have money on the books for tank, you can't afford to put another guy making almost the same amount of money at the same position on the field...
it almost defies what the salary cap is all about....

So, everybody thinks Jerry Jones is cheap when he doesn't pursue another wide receiver at 30 million or another defensive end at 30 million it doesn't usually fit it doesn't make sense for most teams....

So, I'm not even watching that video but the list is growing larger of the free agent list and it's a pretty large one for pass rushers..

they're there whether they're outside linebackers that play a lot of pass rush or just straight up defensive ends the list is growing I mean that guy out there like bosa why would you pursue giving somebody draft picks and paying them 30 million you could probably get a guy similar to help you out for half that 15-16 million a year?

I get my point is can we use common sense here and just say that this is unrealistic to keep mentioning every damn possible trade or free agent in the entire NFL is always linked to the Cowboys this is ridiculous, most teams won't do this and can't do this.
it is why they're releasing players look at how many players that San Francisco is trying to get rid of and then you got guys like bosa being cut there are good players out there being released this is one of the largest free agent crops I've ever seen of friends that still probably have tread on their tires guys like Alan going from Washington etcetera etc etc
they're out there... There's no need to make a big trade for a position or pay that kind of top market money if you're just looking for a complimentary player at a position you already have a star you can do it for half that price there there will Jerry even do that?

I don't know..

He’s a stud but at 30 that’s a tad steep
it's not just the 30 million although that doesn't make sense for most teams that are already gonna have to pay another guy at the same position more than that in the same zip code and money you have to give up massive draft capital and there's a big list of pretty nice outside linebackers and pass rushing defensive for half that you don't have to give up any draft picks I mean that's the point I'd rather draft this guy if that's what they want you can get another complimentary wide receiver or pass rusher either that are straight free agents or in the draft...

The only teams that this is making sense for would be a team that doesn't have another player at the position a starter they need another starting wide receiver that will be the guy and the only one making 30 plus $1,000,000 a year or a pass rusher in this case then that makes sense for them to go out and get a guy like that make a trade because you don't have a war daddy at that position yet or they're rookies and you have to wait on them but at this point everyone who's linking these people to Dallas is not even fair to suggest that Jerry's being cheap because most teams can't do this most teams are releasing players or trading players like this because they don't want to pay them we're about to pay Parsons..

These stories get really old these videos these rumor mill suggestions these everything's connected to the Dallas Cowboys it's exhausting it's not even real it shouldn't even be a suggestion because it's not the reality of what most teams have a make up in the NFL under a hard salary cap it just doesn't even make sense to bring it up but yet they do every single player that's a free agent or up for a trade is linked to Dallas..

Golston on day one.

Fine by me. I’ll no longer have to watch people around here insist on sticking an H into his name.
That is a strange one. Hgolston is a good enough player that we should get his name right.

Step back from the ledge my friend.

They can sign a few solid vets for decent deals and head to the draft.

+ Bring back Dowdle on a two year deal, draft RB
+ Sign Keenan Allen to be WR2, draft Tet at 12
+ Sign Will Hernandez as he knows Adams scheme. Will be a cheap 1-2 year deal.

+ Bring back Lawrence, draft DE
+ Sign Poona Ford/Robertson-Harris type for DT depth
+ Sign Jack Sanborn or EJ Speed and bring back Kendricks

Those are all easy moves, with vets not breaking the bank. All are plus starters and improvements

Between the stupid bell of his and the side conversations with his wife, I cant watch.
