Fish Markets, are they rare?

Sometimes the season is longer. I’ve grilled in nov and dec a few times when we’ve had warmer weather.
Ooooooh, did you get all bundled up nice and cozy and have some hot cocoa?

Buck up, Sarek, grow a pair and hit the great outdoors to show them all, Grilling Season is year round and not for the faint of heart, this is manly man stuff. You ain't grilled, my man, until it's cold enough to flip the burgers with your nipples.

Ok so when i travel i notice most areas only sell fish at the supermarkets or at restaurants.

I would like to know how many of you have small local stores that just sell fresh fish and nothing else.

I love fish markets and find that fish sold in supermarkets is of much lesser quality.
We have a ton of them in upstate NY.

All joking aside when it's that cold you can mound up the snow beside the grill and store your beer in it

Okay, are we actually talking about fish? You know that swim and live in water? Or are you talking about chicks? :D

Down here in South Central we have "you buy we fry" fish markets like Alex's Fish....the bomb shhhh

Why is the purveyor of fish known as your fish monger. As in "ask your fish monger". Do I have a meat monger, whiskey monger or convenience store monger? I did have a pot monger but only because his name was Keith Monger. If I sold fish and you called me your monger, I'd *****slap you with a flounder. I want to be a mirth monger because that sounds really nasty.

I worked in seafood restaurants for several years and never had a fish purveyor get mad when I called them fish mongers. I have been slapped with a flounder, but that's a different story. We had fresh seafood delivered daily, it was all kinds of different stuff, it was great.

When vacationing in the Canary Islands, I tried chipirones, which are baby cuttlefish, and were absolutely delicious. I tried talking to all the fish mongers we dealt with, but couldn't find any. I highly recommend if you can find them, to try them.
