Fish says Jerry would hire Romo in a second

Fish, as usual, just throwing whatever he can out there to see if it sticks. Romo should just take the rest of this season off, focus on getting better, and let the chips fall where they may. I know it's a big joke to some people, but addiction is a dark place to come back from. I genuinely hope he finds the help and strength he needs to pull himself out of it and land on his own two feet.

as I have said, why would Romo trust Jethro after getting stabbed in the back by him?
I believe that had a lot more to do with the Garrett than to do with jones...romo should never have lost his job due to injury..that was a ******** move by jg.

why>
outside of your irrational hate for Tony...
I dont talk to idiots
If you think i “hate” Romo, i have been posting here for 20 years, show me my irrational hating posts about Romo
Otherwise shut your trap and learn football

you clearly are a Romo hater if you think he would be a worse GM then Jethro
so frankly YOUR post made you look like an Idiot

Fish's philosophy is to throw hundreds of possibilities out there as "reports" and if one or two hit he gets to call himself an "insider".

While Romo on the staff is some capacity makes sense, we are also assuming he would even want to be a coach. The hours required alone might be something that turns him away from a job that would pay him far less than what he got as a player and on CBS.

What the heck for? Seriously how can Romo help? Teach people how to be entitled and lazy?
The guy who showed up overweight every training camp for the 2nd half of his career and the guy who CBS constantly complained, “He’s unprepared and not putting in the work” is the guy to be added to Jerry’s staff? Yeah, that is very on brand with how our dysfunctional franchise is run.

Let Garrett learn on the job for a decade rather than hiring a legitimate head coach and empowering him to do his job.

This is all business as usual, and nothing about it says we are “all in”.
