Fisher: 10 Steps To Drafting Ezekiel Elliott

There goes 4 minutes of my life I will never get back.

I take it you were not impressed with the KC Drummond trade down into the 2nd and still get Elliott scenario?

That was primo stuff, snob.

I admit. I got confused by his ramblings. I actually had to read certain parts a few times to make sure I hadn't gone stupid all of a sudden.

But sure enough, there it was, Elliott in the 2nd round.

lol, are you kidding me? He had the Cowboys trading back with the Giants (love inter-divisional trades rofl) to 10 and then having a choice of Myles or Ramsey? That dude is drunk.

I haven't spent much time with this draft and players, but from what I've been reading. While this isn't a strong draft, it's still top heavy and around the 5th pick it really starts to drop off. If that is the case, then trading down from #4 is stupid. I don't care if you end up with someone not worth the 4th pick. You still must take quality over quantity. One great players is better than two average players. That is true in Football and any other job.

When I first took over my department at work. We had several below average help desk guys. I got rid of almost all of low skilled/attitude guys and replaced them with half as many skilled and positive attitude help desk guys and we are far more productive now than we were before.

Don't trade back and draft trash and don't listen to idiots who think they can get the cream of the draft in the second round. Those guys are idiots.

If we truly are in win now mode and have no intentions of drafting a QB in the first round, this is the guy I want. In my opinion, he will have the most immediate impact on our team. Who cares about the life span of an NFL RB when we are in win now mode, right?

We're going Kevin Costner, "Draft Day" on all these mofos. You watch. We'll get everyone we want. We're going to question Wentz's ands Goff's mental makeup and overall heart. Then we snag LB, or Bosa, and then get our RB.

The article was poorly written and ridiculous.

Having said that, this was the best part and most insightful:

I say this with tremendous respect for what Darren McFadden accomplished in 2015 and what he'll accomplish as a (probable) backup under contract for 2016: He is a successful reclamation project who is old, a poor fit for what this O-line does best, and best-suited as a complimentary or even emergency fill-in. Change the entire blocking scheme for him? McFadden's not great enough to have to merit that; better to add a superior player who is also a superior fit.

Thats what happens when you hire Bloggingtheboys homers to be your writers.

What did Drummond think Crawford was going to get?
