Cowboys Beasley explains Dak Prescott 'changing plays' concept

FRISCO - I've tried numerous times to explain that when a quarterback "changes the play'' or even "changes a route,'' it's generally done so not in defiance of the bosses (in the case of the Dallas Cowboys, head coach Jason Garrett and coordinator Scott Linehan) but rather, within the parameters of the permission granted by the bosses' system.
My explanations do not seem to appease those in Cowboys Nation who "hate'' these coaches and to prefer to imagine QB Dak Prescott shooting eye-rolls at the staff while drawing up his own plays on the spot, at the line of scrimmage, in the figurative dirt
