They are doing this because Free has a quad that is bothering him.

It's interesting that Martin is an RT contingency. I assume Green would get the first shot, but if he struggles, Martin would slide over and Leary would play guard. Should mean Leary dresses this week.

Interesting...a bit like Dez.

Yeah, I was going to write that too. We are paying some big money on recent contracts and extensions which we are getting little to nothing. Scandrick, Crawford, Romo, and Dez, and (dare say) Witten. Those players account for about 1/3 the cap and their production has all waned tremendously for the most part. Witten has been OK but nothing compared to what he is getting paid. Of course, Witten is being paid now for what he has done and not what he can do now.

Is this supposed to be a shot at a guy for getting paid and mailing it in?

No. I like Scandrick and wish he was healthy. Bottom line, I think players who hold out and put money, first and foremost, tend to get injured often or their production falls off. I don't know if the stats bear that out or if it just seems to be the case. Bosa held out for peanuts and then immediately gets hurt and can't even play in the first 3 games.

He tore his ACL after getting his deal. That has nothing to do with getting paid or his holdout, and if anything shows why he needed to look out for himself. He was scheduled to make 1.5 million last season and would have been the 4th highest paid corner on the team.

Not even close.. When Scandrick got his first extension, he became the best CB on the team. That five minute holdout before he tore his ACL does not compare.
I was referring more to the contributions made after being paid.

Understood, but he's been "paid" three times and his play got increasingly better after the first two extensions. Injuries happen and has no bearing on his last extension. Bad timing is all, because for all intents and purposes he was having yet another solid camp before he blew out his knee.

Dez cant throw the ball to himself. He was injured last year. And when he wasn't look at what we had at QB.

Dez contributes and no one works harder or wants "it" more than him.

How bad is Chaz Green that he can't beat out an injured Doug Free? It's not like Free's been playing great this year.

Sounds that way to me as well....Green should get the call

I highly doubt he struggles on pass....the run might give the problems the staff fears

I should have been more clear. I have nothing against Scandrick...my remarks were really aimed at players that don't perform well after being overpaid. Not really Scandrick.

Okay this is really important, screw Scandrick's play since being paid, screw the offensive and defensive lines. One question I have. Is Dez bringing his monkey to the state fair. Because if he did that would be kind of funny.

Sadly, the monkey went to live in the country. So Dez is as monkeyless as the rest of us.

Pretty sure that would be a typo about Collins and McClain. Yes Collins is bigger, no - he played 3-tech in College and 3-tech for us, and don't forget broken foot, no training camp and has just been back for 2 games. Leave him at the 3 where he will be the starter eventually. Lets stop rushing people to play or start. McClain has been our best D-lineman at the 1-tech, why move him now ?
Does not make sense - oh hell, they'll do it then !
