Yes, Imagine having a payed for cap breaking QB with a broken ankle
A fat RB that loves jerry buying lunch at Applebees
and a Gimp LB that loves to pad his stats with assists.
PAUL MCCARTNEY might have written a song about this current team
Imagine there is no Jerry
Its easy if you try
No cap below us
Above us only sky
John Lennon wrote and sung "Imagine".

They've been saying that for 5 years including when they paid Dak 350K a year.

Dak's contract isn't an issue and likely never will be.

It'll be their excuse for not doing more. They should have sold out in Daks 2nd, 3rd, 4th years. But they used other cap excuses.

Stephen just hates outside Free Agents who make more than 1m a year.
Doesn't really matter how much cap we have.

Only thing I'll say in his defense is as it has turned out it doesn't look like we were ever only 1 player away.
Once you push those cards to the center of the table if you didn't start with the winning hand all you can do is hope.

Imagine if we would've paid Dak 2 seasons ago, called Zeke's bluff when he held out, and waited on paying Jaylon smith. We'd have our franchise QB on a bargain deal now and we wouldn't have so much money tied up in two positions that have the shortest life spans in the NFL.

That would have been the best case scenario. The problem with waiting on Jaylon would be the same thing that happened with Byron Jones had Jaylon been any good. But in hindsight.

HA HA HA GL Dak finding that paycheck from anyone including Jerry!:muttley:

Luck.... there would be a half dozen teams offering that paycheck if he were on the open market right now and that is a conservative estimate (probably more this time next year).

the quarterback market is rightsizing itself. Gimp foot ain't nobody special other than a self-centered a-hole.

More attention grabbing word play by Fisher
Yep. Wish there were some form of policy these "writers/columnists" had to follow.

At the very least a code of conduct. They don't care if they end up with egg on their faces in the end.

Off to the next hack job.

This team doesn't sign free agents that aren't trash when the qb doesn't make 40m

Guess the why we're left hoping for a 8-8 sneak in the back door to the playoffs year every year. You cant see how impossible building a championship team paying Dak 40M yearly is?

You don't see that it doesn't matter how much the qb makes, the front office doesn't spend money anyways

Hard pass..

Do not participate in the market of stupidity please.

All of these stupid teams who signed their QB are trading away or watching their guys try to flee to another team.

Russel Wilson has even found out the hard way that it’s tough to build and he wants out too.

If we sign Dak for 35+ this team is screwed for a few years.
If they don't sign him they're screwed for a few years.

The ideal for Dak is a two-year contract. Since that's impossible, you have to decide, would you rather go one less year and have him excel somewhere else, or would you rather have him for two extra years and have him be only good, or worse?

I'd rather lose him one year less than take two extra years.
