Conley is falling but at some point the risk is worth the reward
Based on what's been reported I think he has very little issue there
Is there more? Is there any prior history?
You have to find out but come pick 60 if he's still there, after hiring a few pi's to check it out, I'm taking him if this is all there is

If there was more or any kind of history it would have come out by now. Teams have been looking at these guys for a year plus, they would have dug something up on him we'd know about it. All reports were he was a great kid, highly motivated, team captain, etc.

You mean La'el Collins? How is Conley situation anywhere close to Collins. Especially with how the league is starting to treat players with the violence and what not against females.

my bad. it's 100% different and has no business in this convo.

carry on.

I wonder to what extent teams will factor in how long Goodell investigated Zeke. Assuming he gets treated the same, that would be a second hurdle to cross even if he isn't charged.

"Sorry son, but our investigation concluded you did indeed have pre-marital intercourse with that women. Due to this lewd behavior, I have no choice but to suspend you indefinitely." -Goodell

Lesson learned: ask the right question when administering a polygraph.

I was just going to post this. I am glad we didn't draft him either especially when he came out and said he never touched the woman. Now this. It was doesn't look good but we will have to wait and see.

Hold on, did he ever say he never touched her? I thought his statement prior to the draft was carefully written and never admitted anything about whether he actually had sex or not.

Ridiculously unnecessary risk by the Raiders. As soon as they start taking the right steps as an organization, they do something weird like this.

According to his lawyer, before the draft he said he never touched her and two witnesses said he was never with her from what I read. Now his lawyer comes out and said they had consensual sex. The rape kit that she had done must have shown something for his lawyer to change his statement so quickly.

Sounds like the Raiders just wasted a pick. He may or may not have raped her, but if he and the other witness already ruined their creditability; he's likely to get convicted.
