Flacco or Ryan?

After last season, I think most people would have agreed that Ryan would turn out to be the better quarterback. Flacco looked to me like someone who was not asked to do too much (the proverbial bus driver), while Ryan looked much more comfortable, and the coaches let him take more shots. But this season, Ryan hasn't progressed like I thought he would. He is clearly impeded by the lack of running game this year, while Flacco is aided by a balanced attack and has grown tremendously. So what do people think? Who is the better QB now and who will turn out to be the better QB in the future?

I honestly haven't watched Flacco play much.

I have Ryan as my fantasy QB this year, so I've watched him quite a bit, and I think he's still playing well.

I think they both have bright careers ahead of them and will be very solid QBs for a long time.

Flacco without a doubt. Joe never gets rattled but Ryan does quite often

Flacco.

Joe is a football player.

Matt is a quarterback.

Flacco. The guy has what could possibly be the strongest arm in the league and is making ALLLL the right decisions this year.

Joe for sure.

I like Ryan, always have, and I do think he's a great young QB and a star in the making. I just think Flacco is going to be better. He's got a cannon for an arm but has really solid accuracy and is just a great leader. Seriously the kid never seems like he's rattled, ever.

Same here I think Flacco and Ryan will both have very good NFL careers.

Both are great young QBs. Can't imagine either team will complain about their investment anytime soon.

Only taste I have of Flacco was the game last year, Ryan looks alot like Carson Palmer or a young Drew Bledsoe to me.

That being said I think Sanchez will be the best quarterback of his generation.

I think Sanchez is very Drew Brees like, reminds me a little bit of Jim Kelly as well.

Ryan and Flacco > Sanchez...imo

Flacco has by far the best arm, but they all of very good intangibles.

We shall see, all three look poised to be the gold standard of the next decade of quarterback play.

But Sanchez has intangibles and maturity beyond his years and thus i think he will be the most successful.

Ryan will be the new Drew Bledsoe, and I don't mean that derogatorily, the 1993-2001 Bledsoe was a special quarterback.

Sanchez has a Jim Kelly quality to him that makes me thnk he'll be a non flashy winner, plain and simple.

Flacco I haven't watched but his team has struggled this year outside of a recent clobbering of Denver.

Ryan. Really think he is a star in the making.

The last two games Ryan has been poor. His two ints last night were bad. I believe he is beginning to be exposed for waht he is, a QB still learning.

Some of his decisions last night were stupid. Last year he had the running game to lean on. Not this year.
