The game was on the line and they floundered badly. Fletcher and the rest of them can say what they like, they blew it when the pressure was on and did so badly. Now they know how it feels to be under pressure like Dak was all night long. The difference was that we handled it and won.
Eat your heart out, Eagles, you just lost . . . I'll bet your fans are turning on you as we speak.:muttley:

That's what he said to the philly media after the game. If that helps him sleep better tonight then rock with it. The score and the current standings say otherwise

Feeling goooooooooood
That's a bunch of horse****. I had three Eagles fans text me after the game to let me know the better team won. Their offense is lackluster. You can't have 9 yards per attempt and 4 yards per completion and expect to be a lot of teams in the league.

They might be. I give no merit to players making a comment like this after a tough loss. I just take the win and move along. It is a matter of collecting wins. All the talk after the fact is meaningless to me. Most games, the outcome comes down to a handful of plays anyway.

Cox routinely gets shutdown versus the Cowboys, so I can't fathom why he'd feel the need to say that. He's only had 1 sack in his last 7 games versus Dallas, and only had 4 tackles in his last 3 games against them. His splits vs Dallas are much worse than against the Commanders or Giants.

There's also starting to be rumblings that his play has tapered off after getting paid, but it's probably too early for that. At least he was an early Dak supporter.

They might be better but we had more points on the board.

I bet ole Fletch would trade with us if he could.

The better team won. They tend to only focus on their mistakes and woulda-shoulda-couldas to justify coming up short, while simultaneously atempting to sooth their aching egos (sour grapes). We made more mistakes and still beat them in the end, because the better team made more plays when it counted the most.

Teams appeared fairly evenly matched up until overtime. Then one team showed up to play and the other didn't.

Indeed. The OT drive was a thing of beauty. Especially nice seeing us go for it on 4th down too. I love that decision and the statement it makes.

Never occurred to me but that was the team showing them who was the better team.

Wentz set a record for a qb with over 40 or more passing attempts and completing 70% or more with the fewest avg yards per completion. He finished with 4.6 yards per completion I think 7 is average.

There are many games us fans have said the same thing after a loss they should have won. I'm happy, ecstatic, and thrilled beyond belief this team is 6-1...however they came out of the bye unprepared, sloppy, and are lucky to have won last night. Yes I will take it but the team was outplayed by the igglets last night. Count our blessings and move on.
Hey Silver I have to ask you something Barry asked Jerry after beating the steelers in our last Super Bowl victory " Are You Happy Now !!!"
