Dallas can't have any more games flexed to PrimeTime according to league rules as per Mike and the Maddog show.

Being flexed is a good thing. It means national tv!

The question now is which game is the nationally televised game on Fox then:

Bucs vs. Steelers or Cowboys vs. Giants?

So that means Colts/Eagles will be when?

You are 1 week off. The Colts/Eagles game is this Sunday night. We are talking about next weekend when we play the Giants.

Whatever game you protect from NBC has to be the networks national game that sunday.

Fox chose the NY/Dallas game to lock in and couldn't be flexed by NBC.

Obviously, pickings were slim this week.

Is this a nationally televised game? Will the Fox Pregame crew be at this one?

It would take a HUGE type matchup for a Cowboys game not to be protected. The Cowboys will always draw huge ratings, so FOX or CBS will most likely protect their games no matter who else is playing.

This will likely be the seond game of a double header for FOX. So with teh excpetion of some regional blackouts, it will be nationally televised.

As for whether the FOX crew will be there, I have no idea. I suspect they will be.

Darn. If both the Bucs game & Cowboys game a week from next Sunday play at same time, I'll get stuck seeing the Bucs here in the Tampa area. Well, guess I'll be at the local sports bar hopefully watching the game there. Better take a winter coat; it's freezing in there.

It would be worse if they had the flex schedule for MNF. That would really throw travel and hotel plans out of whack.

Why's that?? Because we have had three games in primetime already?

I remember there was some speculation that our game with NO would be flexed earlier in the season.
