The Rams played the Cowboys game and dominated by doing so. It was tough to watch the beating in the trenches given by the Rams on both sides of the ball. The Cowboys front 7 was shredded and the Cowboys running game was shut down. The Rams are a talented, well coached team and the game wasn't even as close as the score indicated.

Gallup is a player. He and Cooper are and nice combo. I think they can win with Dak. He missed some throws and got away with two near catastrophic picks, but I don't see any other alternatives at this point.

There are three players the Cowboys need to be very cautious about signing for top money. DLaw, Zeke and Jones. DLaw is not consistent enough to be a franchise player, Jones does not make plays and Zeke is human. You just can't pay RBs 8 figures, IMO.

The Cowboys really need Fred Beard back and a couple of man-eaters on the DL. They also need a better S to compliment Woods. Heath was awful in run support tonight and pretty much watched Goff run right by him to seal the game.

Looking forward to next year.

Good post. I agree the Cowboys need to be careful in what they offer DLaw, Zeke, and Byron.

maxie, excellent post. The question is will management really see the problems tonight? They're more bent to making excuses and thinking problems correct themselves.

Giving up 269 yards rushing tonight and making it look easy tells us we are further away than closer as I had originally thought. That front 7 got manhandled and embarrassed.

The Cowboys near a critical point in contract extensions with some good players. They are in need of help in numerous spots and I feel paying Zeke, DLaw and Jones will hurt them in the long run.
