Flo has a hearing impairment?

Another interesting tidbit from NFL Countdown this am...They were talking about Parcells blasting sound during practice this past week to replicate the noise of Giants stadium. It was a throwaway line, but the reporter said something about Flo having hearing problems in one ear & that the team was worried the noise might affect his play today. Anyone ever hear that before about Flo?
 
yeah. he's practically deaf in one ear. Not sure which one, but it does have an effect when it's loud.
 
yes that is part of the reason he slipped to the second round.

He is deaf in his left ear.

deaf in his right ear which is why he played RT at Mich St.

That didn't cause his penalty today though, he moved when he saw Romo move. IMO.

You're right. He relies more on movement than sound, and that's also one reason he will have false starts more than most.

Which is also why there was talk an off-season or two back of moving him to RT
 
Right ear. I have always felgt as if he would be a dominating RT.
