Kicked in the thigh on August 21, but doubtful for a Sep 10 game? He's wearing me out.

Who, what and why was this posted? He is doubtful for the preseason game. Everyone that is a cowboys fan knows he is hurt, but is expected to start the season. The injury is a calf strain by the way.

Lol ... yeah he remains my biggest concern entering the opener. I'll feel monumentally better once I'm positive he's back on track this season.

Wrong. He is very iff for the Jacksonville game. Parcells said so yesterday. Do your homework.

What does "VERY IFFY" mean? Iffy means 50/50, very iffy must mean 51/49. The jist I got was he was iffy for the preseason game because they didn't want to re-injure the calf.

I was pretty sure that Parcells said that if the season started tomorrow Flo would be in the lineup.

If anyone has ever suffered a strained calf, it is a slow injury to get over. It lingers forever! Especially bleeders, and Parcell' said his bled out a bit. I have had a couple and they really do hurt like heck. You can run, it just feels like you calf is ripping in half. Flo may be out for more than the opener.

As long as it's not a tear and they don't think he will do more damge. I think he will be in the game. The will give him a shot to ease the pain if needed.

Reports today said he was running with the cord thingy that gives resistance. Parcells apparently said in the Beer Press Conference that he will be a game time decision tomorrow against Vikings. That doesn't sound like he's as bad off as 50/50% for the opener.

Remember he is still rehabbing that knee. Takes some time. I'm guessing the calf on the same leg as the bad knee wasn't as strong as before and tore a bit from the strain. Makes sense. They just don't wanna rush him back.

Mickey said that he would probably play today if there was a regular season game.

I'm more worried about rust and lessened mobility in the first year back from acl. I've done acl twice and for a guy that size to come back has gotta take some time.

He'll be fine barring reinjury. I think we need to cut him some slack first few games too, until rust falls off and he gets confidence back in knee.

I took that as BP just being coy with his opening day lineup and just playing games with the media to give them soemthing to worry about but as of right now I find it VERY VERY difficult to believe FLO won't be out there on opening day.
I think the reason we saw so many strecth plays and tosses to the edge against SF was preperation to play J-ville and their DTs. If Flo wasnt able to go I think you would have seen Pettiti or even Fabini getting a lot of reps at LT to prepare for week one.
