Time to draft a stud LT in Round 1 next year... move Flo to RT. Sign a FA center and add Beasley at FB..... very doable under the cap. MAkes this team legit in a hurry.

How are you gonna do that when you gotta draft a QB to replace Bledsoe, a real #1 running back, and a 3-4 linebacker?

O line gets the treatment this offseason that the D line did last. HOPEFULLY with the same results.

bledsoe is here for 2 more years and JJ and MBIII are fine... it all starts up front.

Teague31, I like the way you are thinking, however, I am not sure we can really afford the Hotel's $$$$$ and spend $$$$$$$$$$$ for the LT also--can we?

Because oline is the only thing holding this team back from Superbowl contender.

This is an interesting thought. It has the potential to solve a couple of problems at once. The LT would have to be a real stud...contribute now kind of guy. How many of those are out there?

with out a new CBA I don't see how you work this. ALL SB's will only be prorated for 3 years. I think next years FA"s are screwed. I don't see many long term deals. Brady and the Pats are screwed. He took a large Roster Bonus to help the pats out which was to be made into a SB this offseason with the hopes of a new CBA being in place; which doesn't look good.

If one of the good LTs falls to us that should definitely be the pick. We can then move Flo to RT as you suggest and will have solidified two spots on the line in the process. Tucker and Petitti can go back to the bench and learn.

The only thing that would even make me consider not using this approach is if a great pass rushing OLB falls to us because that could be the final piece of a dominant defense.

There are several good tackle prospects this year. It's very possible that one could fall to us, especially with the games we have left.
