Makes me sick seeing CJ ALLEN go to Philly though

He's not. If the Birds trade up, and I think they might, I'd look for someone like the OG from Oregon, Pregnon. Some have mentioned the safety from Toledo (same school as Q. Mitchell), but OL is fast turning into a real sore spot for Philly. Some have criticized the Lemon choice because of that need. But, at that point, I think the OL's the Eagles had targeted in Round One (Freeling, in particular) were gone.

As to Lemon, he's not a direct replacement for AJ Brown. I think his spot is in the slot, plus they can move him around a lot. But he's not a natural outside WR. Which is not to say they're not trading Brown. They almost certainly are.

Yeah I thought for sure theyd draft an X receiver. Hurts needs that big possession guy.

So--I got tossed off the board last night b/c I was spoiling the picks b/c they were posted on PFF before they were announced at the draft. I'm not complaining, I learned my lesson.

But these two thoughts occurred to me:

1. I wonder if anybody made money on the polymarkets because of this. If the payouts were based on the official announcements from the NFL, it was entirely possible. Sometimes, there was as much as a 4 minute gap. Could be possible tonight, come to think of it.

2. I am all but certain that Kiper, among others, was aware of the postings, meaning that his 'speculation' about the picks was anything but.

You know Howie......and his love for Georgia players.....Gotta replace Nakobie Dean....Wouldn't shock me if they try and trade up to go get him.

Shocked he's still on the board.....he was my pick for Philly in the 1st. I seriously doubt he last to their 2nd. Minnesota has a massive hole there. I doubt Harrison comes back.

:hammer:The whole 8 minute between picks was a total disaster last night. TV can't keep up....Actually....they might if they didn't have 50 damn commercials. The league really needs to go commercial free.

I think they will view him as a 34 OLB pass rush. His best attribute will be as a pass rusher. Now I have no trouble with another pass rusher...but if we want a LB to work with Overshown....Perkins might not be the one.

Well...he ended up in Indy. Surprised Indy went there....but it makes sense.
Yeah I feel better about that. I didnt like them getting the international guy, but odds are long against him. Guy is a total freak athlete though.
