Flo's head and heart

I was just re-watching the Jacksonville game, and on the initial TD pass to Terry Glenn, Flozell blocked his guy out wide and then stayed with him and gave him one more shot which gave Drew the extra time he needed to get the pass off to Glenn.

That struck me because no one doubts Flo's ability... but I do have serious questions in the past about his commitment and focus. I can't count how many times in the past I've seen him get an initial block and then relax on his guy and give up a sack or pressure.

If Flo can play with heart and determination and concentration all year, and we can protect Drew, it could be a special year. But I think a lot of it depends on what Flo is out there.

this problem is not exclusive with Hotel. The eagles deal with the same problem with Tre Thomas (both were drafted in same year). Maybe these LT tend to pace themselves and it gives illusion that they have lapse in intensity.

why can't they give him a helmet like the QB w/ so he can hear the snap count? He's great but it seems like in the past he jumps the count in the red zone.
