I guess my top 2 questions are...

1. Who else are we targeting? (Berrian, B. Johnson, Stallworth, Florence???)

2. What is our cap situation now?

WOW I would be overjoyed if we picked up a nice #2 reciever and a #3 corner.

Championship! :laugh1:

And upgrade our back up QB...keep Brad, but add another...better and younger vet as #2.

I believe they will get Hamlin signed to a deal, then worry about the draft. I don't see them getting a big named WR this year via free agency, I could be wrong but it's not likely.

I would think Florence, the CB from Diego, would be the most likely target of those you listed.

We should still be $8-$10 mill below the cap, so we are going to be a player in free agency.:D

I predict that we'll move slowly in free agency, people will get tense

but that won't stop me from checking to see if we signed anybody lol

Hopefully just get barber and hamlin squared away and get ready for the draft.

We have 8 picks and about 5 open spots. This team can be set up for 5 years with a good draft.

I really don't see us keeping 2 vet QBs...although I do think they go after a QB later in the draft if a nice prospect slips (in 4th or 5th?)

They are definitely looking for a vet #2 speed receiver in free agency. Just not sure if they will get one or not.

Frankly, I think the best deal we could make would be to sign Javon Walker if he's healthy and wants to come here. While the Eagles and a few other teams might be interested, Walker might be more interested in playing for the Cowboys even if he still wants to be a #1WR since TO's a friend and our WR coach (Ray Sherman) is his old coach when both together at GB and they supposedly remain close. Also the Cowboys are legit SB contender with an excellent QB and we had most prolific passing attack in NFL except for NE.

Great point...our team should be especially attractive to one of the abovementioned reciever possiblities due to the advantages it offers. Getting in with a SB contender AND having TO on the other side of you to draw double coverage should aid recruitment and might even have one come in with a slight discount.

I really see us attacking #2 reciever quickly...but I am skeptical about CB. There just aren't many of them available that are worthwhile IMO. Additionally, they will probably demand stupid money as well.

Another interesting side-effect of the economics of this years off-season should mean that a nice vet #2/3 RB should come fairly cheaply since there are so many out there AND so many good prospects in the draft.
