the tragedy of a salary cap is you can not always keep players you would like to... but I can't complain about it because the likes of Leonard Davis, Terrell Owens, Terry Glenn, Jason Ferguson wouldn't be here now without it.

Speaking of which, that is why, I am so opposed to giving up an entire draft to select just one player...you have to be able to project and replace the players you lose each year in FA

Had a great one --regular Nov in the Panhandle --85 one day and 29 the next

the cap does bring us the chance to bring in players like TO and Davis ---and hopefully we have learned to bring in the younger ones. And you are totally right --we have to be able to say goodbye to the adams and Allens

he blocks out the sun, especially on passing downs...almost nobody gets near Romo from the backsid...thats FAR more important

You do know that Flozell is deaf in one ear?.

I have seen multiple reports that he is completely deaf in one ear and has partial hearing loss in the other. Can anyone else confirm if this is true?

The NFL announcers and posters here are always giving the guy crap, but it should kind of be a success story, if you ask me. Flozell has been a pretty good to excellent player here and as overcome a "physical handicap". The guy struggles with the snap count and he's deaf, -- shouldn't more false starts be expected.

Now don't get me wrong, the penalties piss me off too, but I try to cut the guy some slack.

If the guy was completly deaf, he would be the biggest success story of the NFL.

Since it's only one ear and partial in the other, he's just --

yup... unless Flo is gonna cut us a deep hometown discount I don't see how we can sign him long term and keep the younger guys also...it will be interesting to see how it goes

I don't have a problem with his weekly false start penalties.

But there are games, and even stretches of several games in a row, where he seems disinterested and doesn't play that hard. And I'm not talking about last year when he was slowly coming back from the injury.

He's playing well this year, no doubt. But you have to wonder how he would be next year after getting paid.

he got a big contract a few yrs ago, didnt tank then...

personally I think he's going to sign a 1yr deal under thw franchise number, then we'll have a new LT in 2009

nope, he's a pretty good number 3, and adequate spot starter, we do need to draft a corner to push him, and be a solid #4 for a year though
