Was it me or was Flozell on the verge of a false start just about every play in pass protection?

no, it was just you

cant you be satisfied with waxing a quality team? we dominated them from the opening kickoff till the gun went off in all areas, and this is what you come up with?

This Flo crap bugs me. NO!!! We're not in trouble, he played fine. Big Flo mans that LT spot just fine. Infact, we would be lost without him. He's fine!!!

he had one, a ticky hands to the face call

I'm talking about the team as a whole...

In close games that will haunt us.

But his play is fine. You can't have everything. I'll take Flo any day of the week...

Yeah, I noticed it even when he was on the sideline.

Sorry, just messing with you, man. On the verge doesn't mean anything. As long as he's not, we're OK.

@dbair,

I'm plenty pleased with the effort tonight. Things looked very good. But that doesn't mean you turn a blind eye to potential problems. And let's be honest, Flozell and false starts has been an issue in the past no?

He's not getting any younger and in pass protection it looks like he knows he isn't fast enough on the edge so he jumps early.

Then again, maybe I'm chasing ghosts. Just wanted to see if anyone else saw what I did.

no, Andre Gurode seemed late with the snap all night, which is a problem that goes back at least 3 years

Yeah, we're in trouble if Flo goes down. Period. Free is not ready. He may be one day, but not now.

Hey i saw plenty of nice pockets for romo tonight and i think only 1 penalty on flo that wasnt even false start so ill take it all day

Not that I want Adams to go down, but Free was solid last week and looked good again tonight. His play is definitely encouraging.

Jeez, I expected to see a report of an injured knee or something.

I saw a Flozell that looked lighter and quicker out of his stance. He seemed in good position and overall I felt he did an excellent job.

I couldn't be any happier with how he performed.

Wow, I got just the opposite impression. I thought he looked good tonight, and the fact that he was one of the first back on the snap was great! On pass protection he was ready to meet the defender because he exploded back on the snap. He was able to get his hands on and Romo had good time. He didn't get a false start right?

May, the only problem I had with officiating tonight was the horrible spots on Crayton catches. I thought he got robbed of two first downs. I think we picked up both 4th down plays though. Crayton looked good. Heck alot of the team look dang good tonight.

I agree i think free looked pretty good out there tonight. He got beat a few times but overall i thought he looked darn good.

no need ot rail on the original poster....i saw what he sawa as well. if that had been the regular season there were atleast two times i felt they might have called it. he was beggining to step backwards an instant before the snap, whether the snap was late or not ive seen them call the exact thing on us before. Im not a hater but i did observe this, not a big deal if he slows down tiny bit, but it was happening.

Flo was on the money as soon as the ball was snapped. I saw what you're talking about. Both Colombo and Flo were both back pedalling as soon as the ball was snapped. Just means they were ready for Kearse and the other DE's all night long. No worries.

Jeez, I bet if da boyz played a perfect game then we'd be peaking too soon.

It's the 2ND PRESEASON game.
