Flozell Hat trick

I don't even know how to respond to the OP. There are so many bad things I can say right now, I'll just let you all hang him.

Just glad Flo was not able to win a Championship with Pittsburgh in our house. WHO CARES what he was with Dallas. Can't live in the past. He was merely average to solid in Dallas. He struggled more times than not. Good riddance.

I thought you people where crying over Flozell Adams? Not anymore? Because he lost the SB? He caused a huge penalty? He got hurt? Come on guys, continue your rueing...

Thank you. In the end he was nothing to cry over.

You guys underrate him so much. When he was in his prime he was one of the top 5/top 10 tackles in the game. I know he got a lot of false starts, but just because that's the only time they call offensive linemens' numbers doesn't mean that's the only thing that counts.

He could absolutely stone pass rushers.

Yes, his play fell off towards the end, but he was easily one of the best cowboys players of the last decade.

Thats because it wasn't on him it was on 73... Fox ignored that and thought they meant 71. 73 tackled Raji going up the middle, fox missed it!
This.

Saw it as it happened. Couldn't believe Aikman and Buck missed it.

I'm grateful that you don't have more posts.... To say Flozell was the worst lineman Dallas has ever had is completely moronic.

I appreciate what he did in Dallas. When he left for Pittsburgh there was nothing left to rue. That is my point. Tonight proved that. He was nothing special, actually pretty mediocre.

IMO, you probably should not comment on the game or the play if you did not watch it, as apparently you did not.

yeah, I'm one of the ten people in the world who did not watch the superbowl. Nice ASSumption wise guy.

agreed, he was never perfect but for small window he was dominant. he was solid enough to go to probowls. to say he was the worst ever.. complete stupidity.

Me too. Didn't bother reading the rest.. Can you say clueless?

Flo is so cursed that during a superbowl he makes a good block and smacks Matheews in the mouth and stops him in his tracks and the guy beside him (73) whiffs and has to tackle the ankle of the Green Bay Defender and gets the hold. The refs get the number right because it was entirely obvious, and what do the Fox guys do, but they throw poor old cursed Flo to the wolves and say it was a bad play etc etc. THEY NEVER CORRECTED themselves, not even after the replay was so obvious.

Flo was a top notch player for this team, and if we had 2 more like him in his prime this team would have won at least 2-4 more games this year if you ask me. I like Free but he isn't as good as Flo was at his best YET.

Underrated player for a long time on this team, by the fans, and later by the critics, but not by the guys on the field.

I feel bad for him, but thought Green Bay deserved this win big time. They overcame alot all year, and yeah, as much as I like Romo, Rogers has something - he deserved MVP of game and was outstanding in the playoffs.

I can't believe how many people hate on Flozell just because they watch broadcasts and hear commentators make fun of his false starts. He's got the false start issue because he's legally deaf in his right ear which sucks, but his good play made up for it. I'll take Flozell fully deaf over this year's Colombo all day. Can't believe we actually cut Flozell and kept Colombo, I really hope there was something behind the scenes business wise that forced us to get rid of Flozell instead of moving him to right tackle.

Dude is way past his prime and still stoned Clay Matthews on multiple occasions in the super bowl. Been nothing but wrong generalizations following Flozell his entire career that make him seem bad in the public eye. "He holds too much." "He can't handle speed guys." "He's the worst lineman we've ever had."

He's completely dominated Trent Cole and Osi on a number of occasions who are speed rushers. He rarely ever got bull rushed so the only thing someone could ever point out is when someone ran by him. Dallas really should have done what they could to keep him at least for this year, we are so much worse with Colombo it's ridiculous. I felt this way the instant we cut him and had no OL depth which was a huge pressing issue at the start of the season btw.

Well, Steeler fans would like hime for at least one more year. He won much more NFCE battles than he lost, and would have been worlds better than Colombo.
Holding call was obviously in the middle of the line, and Flo's replay was text book blocking on CM. Nothing to see here.

The OP is BRUTAL and his post is a JOKE. Flo has been a warrior and completely shut down Matthews last night. Pathetic post by "Curly". Go back to Larry and Moe Curly, you don't know football.;)

Why the personal attacks against me? Flozell has been one of the most penalized players we have ever had. Fact and not only that his penalties usually came at bad times and got a good play called back due to his holding. Fact.
I also said that yesterday may have been the best I have ever seen him play and I think that says that maybe we should have had him on the right side all along. Maybe because he is deaf in the right ear or something but he definately looked better on the right side.
When Big Ben was sacked right before the half who was it that got stood up, turned around and let his man get to quarterback?
You do not like the facts so you flame me? I stand by my statements and until we get an offensive line that protects the quarterback and blocks for our runners then it will be difficult to win.

Anyone who claims that Flo was one of the worst linemen we had deserves all he gets. Stop whining- you blew it and you earned all the dog crap.
