Zoners, the below is great news on our All Pro Left Tackle Adams.....he misses the game.....he may come back stronger then ever next year!

The injury may become a blessing in disguise....we may only need to worry about one OT like alot of you have been posting!

Flo’s injury more devastating that you originally thought?

There was uncertainty about the tackle position from the beginning of camp. We’ve had problems all the way through, but I can think of about 10-15 teams who if they lost their starting LT that they would be in a similar situation. I think he’s a valuable player for us, yeah. I’ve seen a lot of maturity in Flozell in the past 3 years. His rehab is doing very well, very quickly. This has his full time attention, and I can tell that he misses the game a lot. I speak to him almost everyday. I saw him this morning. I see all the injured guys every day just to say hello and how you doing?

Yea, hes a monster when his head is right with ball. When its not, I could do as good, and I am 6'0-180ish. If this snaps him out of his 'hmmm....do I really wanna play football today' funk, that would be the best injury ever. I would kill for him to come back mean, nasty and pissed off and wanting to pancake the hell out of everyone.

With a healthy and movitivated Flo back and getting a real C we can be a very good OL. I wouldn't mind getting a RT but Parcells might give Petiti a chance to bulk up and get better in the offseason. Also I think the reason Rivera has struggled this year is because of the injury to his back but he's not one to make excuses and so I expect him to be fully healthy next year. Larry Allen can still play a year or 2. So our main priority in the off-season should be getting a Center and at least some competition for Petiti at RT.

Looking forward to Flo coming back with a vengeance next year, with his head totally in the game 24/7, remembering how it flat out sucked sitting out most of a year. I can just see him wreaking havoc in space with JJ romping in his wake..

Yeah, if he had Erik Williams' on-the-field tenasity/intensity Flo would be an ALL WORLD OT! I can still remember the days of EW banging heads with Strahan and dominating him. If EW was still in the league, Strahan never would have come close to the single-season sack record. Hopefully, this injury will give us the Flo that we had the 1st year after siging the big contract.

Flozell went from "that guy called for Holding vs Washington" to "the Dallas Cowboys were never the same team without Flozell Adams". He's just about become the most popular Offensive Lineman since William Perry (yes the 'Fridge).

Um, I never doubted htat Flozell was good. His absence has been seen this year. Sorry, but Tucker is NOT a starter in this league.

I agree. I don't know what BP sees in him.

I'm confused. Wasn't William Perry a Defensive Tackle, who occasionally played running back?

It is nice to read this.

I honestly wondered if he would stay in shape or would start gaining weight....still have to see if he keeps it up in the offseason.

Don't like Petitti, we have better prospects in the draft. Need a stronger center, and Flo to be back to normal, and for gosh sakes, lose some weight LA. (I love you man, but you are slooooow)

If he can come back and play 100% every play and not take plays off he can be a real pro bowler.

That holding versus Washington I haven't see yet games over if it wasn't for that call. Good news on Flo

I think he sees desire, heart, and physical ability. But he also sees prone to mental errors, and tends to get down on himself (lack of confidence) when things aren't going so well which BP probably thinks he can correct.
