Starbuster agrees with Kitna

Lions WR Mike Furrey, whose claim to fame is firing a pass to crack a star behind the Cowboys' end zone, echoed QB Jon Kitna's bold statement that Detroit will win at least 10 games.
"Right now, on paper, we look like we should win 10 to 12 games, easily," Furrey told the Detroit Free Press.
For some reason, I don't think that paper Furrey is referring to included any info about the Lions' defense.
Not everybody in Detroit is so delusional. Take, for example, the response from Furrey's wife when he came home all fired up after a workout and proclaimed the lowly Lions were playoff bound.
"Well," Mrs. Furrey said, "you said the same thing last year." :laugh2:

Romo thinks we can go all the way. Maybe this is what the Lions need some self confidence, I think they have the talent to be a much better team than they have been and would not come as a shock if they did get things turned around.

I wish there was somebody on the roster who would take that star breaking incident to heart. I remember the story about Randy White throwing that funeral wreath back into the Deadskins locker room after a win at Texas Stadium. Or hell, even George Teague flattening TO. When we play 'em this year, it'd be pretty awesome to see some kind of reciprocal action taken when the team travels to Ford Field.

I also hope its a massacre of epic proportions.

That was Harvey Martin with the wreath, but the point is still the same. It also bothers me that no one on Dallas seemed to care one bit about Furrey's actions. Maybe they didn't see it or maybe it's like you said - they need more heart. Of course, that would explain the way they played that day.

I'm sure fans of other teams don't like us as well what does that have to do with anything? I'm talking purely football not like or dislike, heck I don't care about the Lions but if I look at that team purely from a football view point I think they have the talent to be a better team than they have shown.
