It was going to be extremely tough winning two consecutive away games at Philly and then at GB. We all knew that. This was a make or break game for GB. They needed this win badly.

Let's look at the positives, because there are several.

The Defense is playing tough. We gave up 17 points, but had the Romo fumble that Felix recovered been called correctly, maybe we only give up 10 points.

Folk had an off day. He typically never misses from inside 40 yards. Unfortunately, it happened today. I doubt it happens regularly.

On offense, we need to realize the big play potential is still there. As an example, Austin was open on our first drive in the 1st Qtr., unfortunately the ball was slightly high. RW and Romo do seem to be getting on the same page, but RW had a critical fumble and a drop today. As much as that hurts, you can plainly see that he and Romo are playing much better the past two weeks than the beginning of the season. This can only help us down the line.

The OL had a tough day picking up the various blitzes. But again, they will review the tapes and get it together. The OL is much, much better than it showed today. They just didn't execute well today. It happens.

Let's beat the Commanders and maintain our lead in the NFC East. Things well suddenly look better going into Thanksgiving.

I think it helps that Washington won today and we lost. Everyone kept saying this game at GB was a trap game. That game next week if Wash lost today and we won would have been the ultimate trap game. I fully expect us to be back in form next week.

I think so as well.

I firmly believe we will play better as a team next weekend.

One good thing leading up to the Commander game.

There will absolutely NOT be a "Victory Monday" this week.

we will be prepared next week. I have no doubt. I just hope our injuries are not serious, but am glad our short weeks are coming against the Skins and Raiders

There is something wrong in BIGD. I know it was a make or break game for GB but we should have broke them. We just came off our biggest win in a year and had the momentum. This coaching staff did not have this team prepared and they were out coached as well. The officiating didn't help. We let a big opportunity slip away today.

I can't believe all the homers on this board that was acting like a win in Geenbay was a given.

All this next three wins talk and a 9-2 record, was completely premature.

There. I said it.

As a positive though, I believe we will be ready for trhe skins.

I had a gut feeling about this game today.

The way we played (and obviously prepared, or should I say failed to do so) and our injuries both me much more than the loss. I also was worried about this game. Not because I think Green Bay is better than us, but because I know our team. I was worried they'd come out flat after the big win last week. I was right. Yea, we should be more focused next week after a loss, but why can't we be like the Colts, Patriots, etc.? Those teams don't normally seem to have trouble following up big wins with good performances. Coaching is the only thing I can figure.

I will say this. If we look like crap next week against the Foreskins, we will be in trouble.

Nobody should be looking that far ahead. All this 9-2 talk, divsional lead talk, home field playoff advantage threads need to be turned the hell off. We have Washington coming up. They stink this year. But you know what I never ever take a divisional game lightly regardless of the record or stink factor.

This is a divisional game against the Commanders. It is important as we move forward. There hasn't been one week this season where I found myself thinking "OMG we can go 12-4, we can do etc." blah blah.

The team as a whole has repeatedly said in more ways than one that its one week at a time, learn, improve, get better and good things will happen. Anyone else who isn't on board with that mentality needs to check themselves.

Fans can speculate and look ahead all they want to. We don't make a difference in regards to how the team plays and how well prepared the coaches get them to play and execute the game plan. The problem is, our offensive coaching staff doesn't seem to have a game plan. Just go out and sling it all over the field.
