I would have liked to sign him as well, but if I remember correctly, the Commanders already had a contract in place (2 or 3 year contract) before he could talk to other teams and they were just waiting for the official date it could be signed.

McCoy had no interest in going anywhere else unless someone gave him starter money. Wasn't going to happen here.

As it turns out, the decision to go with Moore could end up in us getting a better QB than if we had tried signing one earlier.

I've been pulling for McCoy for a while. I think he's a quality backup.

On Foles I'm kind of indifferent. He's better than Moore, but I'd love to see Prescott and Shields get a shot.

I'm a UT fan but want no part of Colt. He has a noodle arm and can not stretch the field with his arm. He's not much better than Kellen Moore, if any. What Kellen did on that last game against the Skins is pretty much what Colt McCoy is.

It amazes me that a team whose entire season was derailed by terrible backup quarterback play learned absolutely nothing from the experience.
