It is possible Romo only misses 3 games and I would rather go 2-1 instead of 0-3 and writing off the season

What makes you think we'd go 2-1 with Romo if we didn't do it last year with Cassel, Weeden or Moore lol? Am I suppose to believe that Foles is any better than that collection? If he is he sure didn't show it last year with St. Louis. Then people will say "Oh well the Rams didn't have a good offense"....neither did the Cowboys.

I've seen him do much better and we lost several close games last year...with Dez healthy and EE on the team I think we will be that much better......so yes even a slight improvement at QB2 would be a big deal.......how anyone can be against that is beyond me

Because no one is arguing against improvement in the backup QB position. The argument is Foles isn't better than the replacements that were trotted out there last season.

He is 10x better...that is without question....KMoore should not be on a roster

Showers and Prescott have all the physical attributes to excel above McCown and especially Foles. ...no to mention Kellen Moore.

We just disagree on his ability. The fact that his team won some a couple seasons back doesn't mean much to me. I agree we need a QB2 who can play though.

Actually I think we agree as far as his "ability". I think he is "ok". Nothing special....

But the fact remains.... He has led teams to victory.
We haven't had a backup that could do that since... Kitna? Early on....

It doesn't work that way. His QBR has slid every year. Last year it was the worst in the league. Think about that.
