I've mentioned this before, but I like the fact that his kicks are straight. A lot of kickers will kick it and it will look like it's going to miss and then hook back in. Even Folk's misses are straight. It seems like it takes another variable out of it to me.

He's gotta be one of the best. There aren't many kickers I'd take over him. I can only think of one off the top of my head and it's Adam Vinatieri and that'd debateable since Folk is so young.

Must admit I didn't understand why we drafted Folk in the 6th round of the 2007 draft. But I started rooting for the kid a few weeks into the TC. Agree he made his money & the pro bowl in 07 because of those 2 kicks against the Bills. It's called grace under pressure and the pressure was on the rookie kicker that night.

Then you think about what Adam Vinatieri did when Peyton threw 6 picks, but still got the Colts in a position to beat the Chargers...

I understand the appreciation, just seems odd after a game in which he missed a kick, lol.
