It wasn't long ago the board was in meltdown mode because of our kicking situation. Folk has become reliable. Thank you Nick Folk.

Then you think about what Adam Vinatieri did when Peyton threw 6 picks, but still got the Colts in a position to beat the Chargers...

I understand the appreciation, just seems odd after a game in which he missed a kick, lol.

Wasn't it Meat Loaf who sang "nine out of ten ain't bad"??

I will say this I don't get an uneasy feeling before FG attempts any longer.

He missed a 50-yarder. I think, most of the time, FG success over 50 yards is considered a bonus. Many NFL coaches don't try anything over 49 yards as a habit. Wade can and does because Folk is that good.

He's been great so far.

Kickers can be so streaky -- here's hoping that Folk will remain reliable and consistent for years to come.

No doubt about it, he's the best kicker we have had in years and years. The kid not only is automatic on the gimmee's, but even in the 48-54 yd range you have a good feeling when he goes out there

after years of seeing us get killed by other teams kickers, its nice to be able to return the favor.

True but he hit a 53 yarder last night which is always good to know when you are down to you last chance in a game

Even the kick he missed had plenty of distance on it and it didn't miss by much.

What's this mean for the Browns? FOLK THE BROWNS!! WooOO!

One of the best in the league right now.

I appreciate Nick Folk and that crazy arse Matt McBriar. They're alright as far as kickers go.

Here Here. I also think he's a real good interview. He seems very humble and good natured. Just the opposite of what you'd expect a person whose position correlates with fragile egos alot of the time.
