Folk keeps his job...

What? You didn't hear that beuhler missed 3 whole field goals in practice today?

I hope Dallas doesn't even attempt FGs anymore unless its 4th and long.

Anything outside of a PAT is too risky at this point.

Buehler hasn't hit anything all year according to coaches.
He isn't a valid option.
If they wanted a real option they should have brought Suisham in.

Go for 2..

Exactly what I thought would happen.

The question is wether or not we bring in serious competition for Folk next off season. My bet is we do.

Brace yourself for three kickers in training camp.

And he would cost you guys the game just like he did the 'skins. He makes folk look great, at least folk hit 23 yarders. But maybe I'm still a lil bitter being a 'skins fan

I agree. Lets play as if we have nothing to lose and just go for it every time.

Personally, I wouldn't even have a kicker on my team, I would just find a guy on the team that can kick off. The heck with FGs and XPs, if you can't get it into the endzone then you don't deserve to win.

Thank you for posting that. It brought a smile to my face.

As bad as it is right now, I can't believe how quickly many have forgotten how money this guy was. Not one but two 50 yd FGs in a row. Not a problem. I never thought the guy was going to miss. I was surprised by it.

He could come out of this funk just as quickly as he got into it. And with no one out there to take his place what choice do we have. And forget Suisham. He's got his own demons. Better the devil you know.

If I remember correctly anything under fourty and he's been good enough. If you get past fourty he's been a disaster.

I think the situation should have been addressed several weeks ago,I think it's too late in the year to start trying to shake things up now.

Great, Folk can make a few field goals in practice with no pressure. Big deal. He misses them in games when it counts...that is all I need to know.

Don't kick any FG more than 30 yards long. Too risky.

I don't think anyone has forgotten but his ONLY job at this point is to kick field goals. He doesn't kick off, he doesn't break down film or call out protections. He just kicks field goals. So not being able to do that is a huge deal. It's not like a QB in a slump where you can sort of hide it in a game plan, if your kicker can't make kicks, he is all but useless.

My god I can't believe people are willing to stick with Folk as we enter a 3 game stretch fighting for our season. He might come out, but he might not. There must be guys on the street that could come in and compete. Atlanta just found Matt Bryant. I'll say it again, I wish Wade was my boss.

You seem to have forgotten that Folk's kicking percentage last game was actually higher than the team's ability to reach the end zone from within the 2... :banghead:

Agreed.

I would say 35 is the max I would let him kick. That means the ball would have to be on the 18 yard line or closer.

If the kick is longer, then just go for it.

I think the general consensus is to just go for it if the ball is not inside the 15 yard line.:D

Are you on the right board.
This is "football" not tiddlewinks.
A multi million dollar player was carried off on a stretcher last week,
and you don't want to "RISK" going for a measley field goal.

Courage please.:eek::
