I lost my "trust" in this team in last year's playoff loss. Ever since I've been in a show-me state of mind. Sure, I get giddy at times and was excited by the hot start ... but I always tempered everything with "We'll see what happens in December."

To me, last January was like a girlfriend cheating on you and you trying to take her back (as I did with the Cowboys since I'm not dumping them. :) ). I was wary. Cheesy analogy, but I think it works.

Anyway, I think the team is proving we had plenty of reason to worry and that last December wasn't an aboration. For whatever reason, this is the team we are now.

The fact that we became the FIRST NFC #1 seeded team to go ONE AND DONE in the playoffs in 20 years says ALOT.

Yeah-there were a number of AFC #1 seeds that made early exits during this same time frame, but the NFC #1 guys ALWAYS got the job done until us last year.

What was worse was that every other teams' MB(aside from the Chargers') just threw a party over this.

I hope this tempers the illogical Romo bashing going on past few weeks when he carries a 103 QB rating this year....

Some wanted Brad Johnson and Roy #11, well they got it today.

Us playing bad today doesnt justify ROMO's horrendous play (are crucial red zone (both teams) turnovers included in QB rating?) recently...or his lack of leadership. Actually...lack of leadership is a euphamism, his sulking and pouting has been directly related to a soft team with no heart.

Roy 11 was in for like 3 plays dude...tap the brakes on that one, we know what he is. We saw it at UT and have seen it at Det. He is a 6' 3" reciever that runs a 4.37. Tap. Brakes.

wow dude. Romo doesn't have leadership? show me picture/video proof of him sulking and pouting and ill believe he has no leadership...I can save you the time i know what your gonna post. You'll post him on the bench with out a smile..."oh no! Romo isn't smiling hes pissed and pouting!" Wrong the dude was more then likely pissed at his play and the play of his team mates. You take the beating he did and smile

Yes qb rating takes into acount turnovers

You CLEARLY dont read/keep up with the Cowboys like most people on this site. Really? Romo doesn't sulk? REALLY????

That is comical. I have witnessed it in person, but I dont have a video link, I didnt break out the cellphone so that I could prove it to someone who doesnt pay attention to the Cowboys on a Dallas Cowboys Zone. Read some of the numerous articles written last week about what Tony was doing as/immediately after Folk hit the 52 yder to send the Arizona game into overtime. Perhaps that is where you can start, then I advise paying attention during the games...esp in person if you want to see what lack of leadership and sulking looks like in a quarterback. (if its any consellation, he looked really happy and energetic at Jessica's concert Fri nt as he "avoided" the spotlight.)

Yes QB rating does...but there should be a times 10 factor for red zone turnovers, be it in ours or theirs...!!!!!!

yup...ya nailed it...i dont pay attention to a thing, dont read a damned thing...this is starting to remind me of a high school english meeting i had before, up until i proved her wrong...

ka so you want to start on the 52 yarder...ka. How would your face be if you have been hit LEFT and RIGHT all day, played like UTTER crap and was in pain? gee i dont know about you but I dont think i would be full of glee and jumping for freakin joy thats for sure and assuming one hasn't seen the boys live is a bad thing, I seen them last season at soldier field play like crap in the first half and under romos "non exsistent leadership" come in the second half a blow the piss out of the bears...but i guess i still haven't seen them live and in life right?

and boss one mans "sulking" is another mans silent determination to come back and win a game in which hes played like crap...see last seasons buffalo game and boot the qb rating i was answering your question amigo

I saw this for myself at the Cincinati and Arizona games. What really bothered me was the way he walked out onto the field into the huddle - head bowed. Not the chirpy smiling Romo I saw last season. I hope whenever he returns to starting we get the old Romo back.

I wish he would stop mimicking Tom Brady, Troy Aikman, etc. I know he wants to become a BETTER QB, but trying to copy someone else rather than trying to improve on WHAT WORKS FOR YOU is just a terrible idea.

It's alot like getting a History major in his senior year in college to change his major to Nuclear Physics.

I was one who thought Brad Johnson could handle the job until Romo came back, I predicted that we would win all 4 games while Romo was out, To be honest something was telling me that Brad would not be able to do it, so now the voice says I told you. LOL

Surprisingly, I am not upset, nor was I upset last week, I told people that crazy things happen when we play the Cardinals. People that have been a Cowboys fan as long as I have can confirm what I say, When Jim Hart and Terry Metcalf were playing they always gave us trouble, yeah at times we would dust them pretty good, but most of those times were in Texas stadium.

I am dissapointed by the way we lost today, you can say embarrassed, but not upset.

My state of mind is just sit back and watch and see how this all plays out, this is true adversity.

I really want T.O. to go off, I know, I know the media will run rampant if or when he do goes off.
I am upset with the media, right now I hate all media personnel, I believe they have side tracked this team, by constantly nit picking any little thing, and it has this team focused on what will be said about them if they win and certainly if they lose.

You know that this is how Wade Phillips teams are, they have a good first season under him and then everything starts to go wrong the second year and following seasons, it is like he is slep rock as a head coach (he is good as a coordinator)but a bad luck lame duck as a Head coach,(I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree) so lets hope Wade does not get a 3rd season as the coach, regardless of what happens the rest of the season.

So, I am calm. I believe there are several scenarios that will happen, either this team will find themselves and come thru this adversity, or they will continue to crumble and wade will be fired at the end of the season, or if they lose next week wade will be let go after that game and Garrett will get the opportunity to finish this season and so get his audition, if he does great and he will have to, in order to be name permanent, otherwise Bill Cowher will be the coach next season.

But I still believe Wade will be finished after this season if not sooner.

So here's to having Dec. and Jan. these past weeks, and Sep. Oct. and Nov. to finish out this season.
Well done.
