Funny thing about Fool's Gold, you're happy until you find out you've been fooled. They did what they had to do to stay in contention in the East with PHL and WAS winning and their headed for an important East showdown.

BigD, I do not know how many of these we're going to get this season or if we'll see 40 again so I am taking this win and enjoying it for what it is, one game.

It was so nice to be able to sit and watch a game and just enjoy it.

But based on what I seen so far this year - this was fool's gold. Glad for the win but I need to see it again.

My mom said how come your not jumping up and down and fools gold was exactly what I said. I want to see this for 3-4 consecutive weeks. Garrett’s done this to us for 8 years now I’m not falling for it unless we go on a streak

I am enjoying the win, i actually enjoyed watching the game.
I also think what may have been if those two fumbles didn’t bounce back into dak’s hands.
Losing those could have sparked the Jags d, it didn’t so i am happy

Sadly, all that did was get clappy the clown a new 5 year deal. THAT game right there will give Jones some kind of justification that he is always looking for.

But there is always a chance that the Oline is turning it around.

I have a very weird feeling about the game.

I guess I've just lost all confidence in Garrett and the passing game and I know it will be our downfall.

It may make me a bad fan but I do think a crash and burn season is what could be best for our future going forward.

Trouble is it has too much talent to "crash & burn" and there are way too many teams in the league that are legitimately worse and will end up with a worse record.

Welcome to life in the NFL. Name me a team outside KC & LAR who's consistent week after week (unless you're talking about consistently bad).

We just put up 40 to move us allll the way up to #25 in the league in pts per game at 20.5, so 24 teams are more consistent at scoring than we are.

the nfl is so week to week any more we are 3 and 3 headed for 8 and 8 at best if we don't start being a consistent team on both offense and defense this team has talent they need to keep playing the college offense that dak understands and can play well the defense is finding itself and with lee coming back they could be even better and should get better as the season goes I just hope they start to be consistent and learn from yesterday

The team has lacks consistency and stumbles into one decent year out of 5.

That's who the Cowboys are under the current management.

They almost doubled up KC last year then went on an UGLY 3 game skid from
which the team never recovered from until Sunday.

If they can't do this week in and week out, I could care less about the Jags game. It's a Jekyll and Hyde team through and through. I refuse to take the bait right now..

I'm happy for the win. But, there is the potential there for this season still to turn out overall bad. I would still say to fire Garrett if this team even somehow made the playoffs but gets eliminated in the first round. This is why I'm conflicted as I do enjoy this team winning and can't stop myself from enjoying it, despite knowing it keeps Garrett around. I know Jerry is looking for any positive game to keep Garrett around longer. Which is why I'm conflicted because I'm happy when we win but want Garrett gone at the same time still.
