Cowboys...

2(51) DJ Moore (CB)
3(69) Ramses Barden (WR)
4(101) Cody Brown (DE/LB)
4(117) Graham Harrell (QB)
5(156) Anthony Parker (OG)
5(166) Darcell McBath (S)
5(172) Joel Bell (OT)
6(197) Patrick Turner (WR)
6(208) Chris Lemons (C)
7(210) Deon Butler (WR)
7(222) Tony Fiamatta (FB)

so 3 WRs, 3 Olineman, 3 DBs, 1 QB, 1 (DE/OLB), 1 FB

I can't see use actually using all 11 picks and not taking a ILB. Also, I guess by picking 3 WRs they are using the shotgun approach and hoping at least one surprises.

They DON'T seem like experts to me.

Would Barden go that early? Just curious.
Also, I thought harrell was a later pick than that as well.
A couple of the picks I like okay, but with 11 you are bound to a like a few.

I would like Barden but I was thinking that was too early as well. I bet he is there in the 4th unless there is a major run on WRs.

I'd be very surprised if we took three wideouts in the draft. One or two would even be somewhat beyond what I would expect in view of our reluctance to draft them in the past and Jerry's insistence on utilizing those that we have. Now, perhaps that's a smoke screen for his real intentions this year but he's surprisingly stuck by what he's said he'd do in recent years of the past. It'll be interesting to note whether or not he breaks that pattern.

Another completely RIDICULOUS mock... and these guys call themselves "football experts"??

Asidefrom the stupidity of having them draft 3 WRs, they have us taking Graham Harrell in the 4th... if he's drafted at all, which I doubt, it will be in the 7th round range... then they have Darcel McBath going approximately 100 picks after he's likely to be drafted... Fiammetta is grading out as a 4th or 5th round pick... I don't know if they mis-spelled his name, or you did transcribing this pitiful excuse for a mock... Anthony Parker is graded as the 302nd best prospect in this draft by NFLDS (a far more credible source), a likely 7th rounder or FA, not a 5th rounder...

But most amusing (or infuriating) of all is "Chris Lemons, C"... I can find no mention of a Chris Lemons in this draft ANYWHERE... for sure, he's not in NFLDS's top 750... they list 3 Lemons in the 09 draft, none of them named Chris, none of them centers... there IS a Chris Clemons, but he's a FS out of Clemson... at 208 pounds, I do hope the Boys don't see them as the solution to their center problems...

This mock is nothing less than insulting... understand I'm ripping them, not you, DFWJC... these self-proclaimed "football experts" are pretty much clueless...

I know...you're not shooting the messenger.

Have to agree with many of your points...they seem a bit clueless.

A few of those players would work, but they're slotted incorrectly.

Someone said earlier that DJ Moore was not bad. I agree. He's short, but I see contributing right away at the next level.

In which case, they have NFLDS's 90th ranked player going at pick 208... :bang2:

This makes me even more annoyed, I spent 20 minutes tryin' to find out who the bleep C Chris Lemons was... :lmao2:
