Ok, with leonard davis tiring somewhat in the 4th quarter like in the goal line attempts where defensive player beat leaonard davis straight across the face, should the cowboys/ jason garrett and hudson houck be bringing in a fresh OG like Holland to play better in cruch time?

Brad sham said on radio at end of game, all 360 pounds of leonard davis looked like he was tiring. I know davis missed some other blocks too, but getting your opinions football gurus.

My professional armchair OL coach opinion says Davis should be replaced for all 4 quarters and 16 games.

How bout we get a guard that is quicker and more mobile and can get to the second level on runs? 360 is too big for a pulling guard...

How come we don't put another O lineman or Jay Ratliff in instead of Gronk on those goal line run plays? Is it because they are not fast enough to react to the snap? I mean I would think Rat would be and he could lay the wood on a block.

Also, putting in an O lineman or Rat could also allow you to run a pass play while the D may believe its going to be a run when they see something out of the ordinary back there.

If Davis is tiring in the 4th and Columbo is wiffing on plays in the first quarter what does that say about COlumbo???

With Dez going on IR, now's the perfect opportunity to steal an OL with potential from someone's practice squad. We're not not going to find an immediate starter, but could possibly find a future starter. That said, I have no clue which teams have such a player, but I would guess there's one or two out there.

Davis might have gotten tired late but he was pushing people around before then. Columbo got whipped all day.

Another guard should be playing every down instead of Davis.

he is still on full roster that i know of;
78 Parnell, Jermey OT 6-6 290 1 Mississippi

Maybe Garrett can pull a Shannahan and replace him in the 4th because "he's not in good enough condition" to run the 2 minute offense.

Bigg is .....too big. And fat. And slow. And most importantly.......OUT OF SHAPE.

Hopefully, his training regiment consists of attending as many all you can eat buffets as possible because he's more than a few biscuits short of being an OT.

totally agree, thats one of the biggest problems with this team due to my thinking of wade's not hitting in pads, but only 3 days in training camp and wade not allowing hitting and tackling in practice

just a sloppy way to run a team to me, you have to have disciplline on a team and work the players, period

granted not all the time, but at least more than twice as many times as wade had players in full pads just 3 times in 5 weeks of training camp this year, what a way to run this team, remember wade said at the end of his job, he assumed the players were ready, but he didnt work them enough in training camp on fundamentals of football
