Every team that made the playoffs this season has pro-bowlers on their O-lines or D-lines, except for the Jets and Cowboys... Except the Jets fixed their O-line with players in the draft with Ferguson at OT and Mangold at C...
AFC
New England - Richard Seymour DE... even though they don't have any O-linemen in the PB, their line always gets the job done for Brady
NYJ - They don't have any linemen going to the PB, but they did the right thing by addressing the O-line with Ferguson at OT and Mangold at C.
Indy - Jeff Saturday C
KC - Will Shields... usually one of the most solid O-lines in the league and rightfully so sending one of the most decorated guards as far as PB appearances... Brian Waters is a reserve
San Diego - what a surprise for the NFL's best team, lots of pro bowl invites... Nick Hardwick C, and Jamaal Williams NT... I thought their rookie OT McNeil was going, but I couldn't find it... Anyone else know for sure?
Baltimore - another surprise... Johnathan Ogden OT...
NFC
Seattle - Walter Jones OT, one of the best... I don't think any Seattle defensive linemen made it against the best names in the NFC, but they led the NFL in sacks last year.
Dallas - no linemen
NYG - I think Strahan initially made it, but he's now injured... But hey, what can you say about a guy who has the NFL sack record and is ALWAYS a guy you game plan to stop.
Philadelphia - Shawn Andrews made it, but he's now injured... to what extent I don't know, but he is going to be a really good player for a long time.
New Orleans - Jamaal Brown OT... they kind of overachieved all over, but hey they are in the NFC Championship and playing quality offense.
Chicago - the NFC's best sends Olin Kreutz at C, and Tommie Harris at DT... Harris is out but when healthy, he's a monster in the middle.
I don't know if I overlooked any reserves, but I could have added OLBs to this list, which could have made a case for Adalius Thomas of Baltimore, Shawne Merriman of SD, and of course DeMarcus Ware for Dallas...
Would be nice however to see Dallas get some help in any area that helps them succeed in the month of December... Here's to hoping for the best.
