Be glad the game was televised yesterday...because if you live in DC....and you are listenting to the radio today I got news for all of you who THOUGHT Dallas won yesterday....Dallas did NOT win

In the words of Joe Theisman...."Tony Romo is not any good...and I have been saying it for a while now" This after he went on and on about how good Jason Campbell was

In the words of Andy Pollin "The Cowboys are who we thought they were"

In the words of David Aldridge and Tony Korhnheiser "Can't see the Cowboys doing much after that game"

Here is the IRONY in all of this....they go on and on about how good the Commanders defense is...then they say Romo and Dallas are terrible. So if Romo and Dallas are terrible, wouldn't that mean the Commanders defense should not get any credit for shutting a mediocre offense down?

And they keep going on and on about the 2 missed FGs. Correct me if I am wrong, but did Dallas MISS a fg? Correct me if I am wrong, but did Dallas FUMBLE on the 12 yard line on 2nd and 2 after a 4 yard gain...meaning it would be FIRST AND GOAL from the 8 yard line! And being down 7-0 on the road in the 1st quarter would brought the true Commanders to the surface....and Romo would NOT have gotten hurt!

And to Mike and Mike...and Emmit Smith...and Peter King...you ALL said Dallas would only win 7 or 8 games. So if Dallas was only good for 7 or 8 wins...what is all the fuss about when we don't DOMINATE teams? Because based on your predictions...we are AHEAD of the pace YOU set for us!

Lastly, the Dallas media demanded Wade be fired during the bye for BEATING Kansas City. So let's see, the same media that said we were only a .500 outfit...wants our coach fired in week 5 for WINNING. I wonder how the defending Super Bowl Champs will be handled by the media for LOSING to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The media keeps me shaking my head when it comes to Dallas.

Theisman is awesome.

Ex Commanders players are some of the funniest people in the media.

Losing your self appointed superbowl must really suck.

Joe THEESman is the biggest ******* homer on the planet. Campbell is such a great QB that his own team went to every measure possible to replace him this off-season. Then when all else failed they just shrugged and threw him out there.

The Steelers will get a pass because they are the Steelers. I know on thing. The Steelers are 6-4 and the Cowboys are 7-3. I don't give a rat's *** what the media says about it.

I totally get that the Steelers will get a pass...because they are the Steelers...but if the "mighty" Steelers deserve a pass....because historically they are good....how come our offense does not get a pass, because historically hasn't it been good?

My bigger point is that ANYONE can lose to ANYONE...but when we do, somebody should get fired! And I am TIRED of it. And again, no one picked us to do ANTYING this year...so why should someone be fired when we lose? All it does is shed light on the TRUE feelings the Dallas media have towards to the COwboys....they HOPE we go 7-9. Because if the TRULY thought we would go 7-9, why would they call for coaches to be FIRED after wins...or players to be benched after a poor performance...I mean after all, aren't we just an average team?

Well said. There are issues no doubt but, we are supposed to suck according to the talking heads yet we won and are 7-3 on top of the division. They can kiss my ***.

Original poster is dead on. I've been listening to DC radio this morning and all they've done is applaud the skins effort and call us garbage. None of this is suprising. They put everything into this game and came up short. They wouldve thrown a parade had they won. I just love the fact that we ripped their hearts our again. I hope all D.C. Cowboy fans rub it in good today.

No way the skins play with the same passion, hunger, and desire against the eagles next week. That will just reinforce that their season comes down to two games against us, pathetic.

To Kornheiser's credit, he did say that yesterday's game boiled down to the last 2 series, and that Romo got his touchdown, and Campbell didn't--and seemed to have some respect for that.

Doesn't mean I won't end up giving the Bud Adams salute to my radio the rest of the day, though. Sorer losers you will not find.

Mike and Mike and Emmitt said we were going 7-9 at best.

We will prove them wrong in 3 days.

Joe Theismann is a punk, hes always been a punk, and not a particularly talented one at that. He played like crap for a QB in the modern era and was carried by the Skids defense INCLUDING his sole SB win.

If he was half the QB Romo has been up till now he would have won 2 and if Danny White hadn't gotten injured in the CG he wouldn't have the one he does.

GP, bbailey. These Deadskin fans are full of "what-ifs" this morning and the media obviously is following suit! I'm not surprised about the backlash from the homer mediots that cover the Skins, though, it's just par for the course with them. Even though it's an "fugly" win, in some ways it's sweeter than blowing them out because we gave them hope only to have #9 destroy them with that last drive! :laugh2:

pay no attention to ol joe.

He is the guy who ran around the country telling everyone Jerry Jones drafted Troy Aikman to sell tickets and that he would be a bad player and that what jerry should have done was draft tony mandarich because left tackles are more important than qb's. Especially aikman who he said would stink in the nfl.

If Theisman says romo sucks, smile. Its reassuring. We all know what the truth is.

I heard the same comments as well. "The Cowboys are who we thought they were." Callers and personalities are trying to make Cowboy fans in the area feel bad about their win but I know if the situations was reversed, they would have loved this win against their "biggest" rival.

But all I did was just laugh at it. They are now behind us and it's on to Oakland. I hope they continue to wallow in their moral victories while they enjoy their record super season. I hope we sweep them this year.

**** them, **** them, I say it is just payback for that game in 2005 where we dominated the Skins for most of the game and then let Moss have those two touchdowns. I didn't like the way we won but the more I think about it the better I like it. It's nice to pull a win right out from underneath them.

Commander fans and media make me think of this:

Because that's all I'm hearing this morning!

I hope we beat Oakland in another defensive battle, the way football should be played.

Then absolutely light up the Giants.

Any team with recent history of showing they are there at the end of the season gets a pass from the media. It is on the Cowboys to turn this mess around and get this franchise back on track.
