Jason Witten just gave credit to Garrett for changing the mindset about these close games. He pointed out that in 12 games last year within 7 points, we lost 8. He said from day 1 of training camp Garrett prepared them for these very situations, and now they have won 2 in a row.

The players believe.

never wouldve won this game under Wade.

Love Garrett as the Head Coach. I think he is absolutely the right man to lead this team. I'm just not sold on his ability as a play caller. Especially in the Red Zone.

Changing the mindset is great.. now improving on the sloppy play that we are still seeing since he took over last year is what needs to happen, and soon.

We can't expect to win many football games the way our offense played tonight. I want to see some progress being made in the preparedness of our offense, consistent progress over the rest of this season. We can't come out looking like a jv middle school football team anymore. We need to all know the plays, the situations, audibles, etc.. its embarassing to watch this offense right now with all the talent we have.

Garrett is a great motivator but a clueless game manager. He needs an offensive coordinator.

I was just going to say what he said^^^ lol.

Good motivator and HC, but we need a legit OC.

Yep.

Hos, I think our Oline deficiencies are the major cause of our red zone inconsistencies. It's just too damn hard to run in the red zone when the field shrinks dramatically when your run blocking just isn;t there. This makes passing that much more difficult as well.

I guess the old truism still holds for many here: Playcalling is great when it works, horrible when it doesn't.

another angel to look at it. Jason didnt praise his playcalling. if the hc is any good about it, players would be all over it singing the praises.

With all the talent (Ogletree, Holley, Harris, Robinson, Nagy, Costa, Smith) we have?

I love how you point out all the guys at the bottom of the depth chart on our offense.. as if these are our star players. lol

If you don't know that we have alot of talent on the offensive side of the football team here, then i just feel sorry for you bud.

Lol...do you watch the games? Most, if not all, of these guys played. As in...today.

Guys at the bottom of the depth chart....starting games.....sloppy play ensues....

Any of this ring a bell?

Is this not what you would expect?

Really?

Sorry, i guess i have to clarify for when i talk about our talented offense. Im talking about guys like Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Felix Jones, Dez Bryant, you know.. our talented players.

..and i don't expect sloppy play when you have vets like Choice and Ogletree who have been with this team and this coach for years. I guess you expect those guys to go out there and committ basic fundamental errors, but i don't. I see the disconnect now.

Lol...you know you got them beat when the only reply mustered is a sniveling insult.

Thats because people like Garrett as the HC, but dont like the Garrett who is the OC and play caller. Two big differences. Kinda like the owner Jerry Jones who we all love and admire vs the GM Jerry Jones who we all wish would relinquish GM duties.

Yeaaa.. you go with that.

..and keep expecting this sloppy play everytime we have one offensive starter injured. If that's what you expect out of JG, you must be pretty disappointed as well, huh?

LOL. I guess recognizing room from for improvement is frowned upon around here.
