Im just curious,do you guys really think the Commanders will lose tomorrow against the texans? do ya really? and if so what makes you think so,has the texans done something to make you feel they will win? BRING IT!!

All I know is we whipped the 'skins pretty good last week, so I don't really care. But frankly, I don't think there's any way the Texans can win -- they are horrible. With that said, if ya'll lose, it's over. And it's close to being over right now, 0-2.

just asking if the following looked familar?

im not here to troll,IMO your cowboys will lose the 1st 2 games of the season...jacksonville can play especially at home, there defense will be jacked up for the home opener,if your honest with yourself the jags have the edge in this one..and the following week your biggest rival comes to town on primetime, with all the confidence they need to go 1 up in the nfc east..man i cant wait till week 2,cause i luvs beating the silver and blue...just wanted to start some healthy conversation as the season approaches...THATS HOW I SEE IT!!!

Maybe it's because Houston has actually shown it knows how to score points this season. :lmao2:

If Houston beats the Commanders, all it proves is that we beat a really bad team. If they win than it proves we beat an 8-8 team.

Oh he didn't eat much, He was feelin real bad and quiet.. :laugh2:

Watchin' you and your brother smack on each other in here is not only highly entertaining, it's a trip down memory lane for me... time for one of my long-winded stories:

I became a Cowboys fan back in 1960, the Boys' first year... I was 8, living in El Paso... my whole family got into the Boys, Sundays for us involved church, then home to watch the Boys get killed by the opponent du jour, then dinner at the La Paloma, a little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant out by the Northgate shopping center, where the food was good and the prices more than reasonable...

But in the mid-60s, Dad got transferred from Fort Bliss to Fort Meade, right outside of Maryland... he came from Hagerstown, Maryland originally, so he was right happy with this posting, and we moved into the family home there in Hagerstown...

And my entire family-- Dad, Mom, my brother Ron-- promptly became hardcore SKINS fans... I couldn't freakin' BELIEVE it...

Needless to say, this made for some really uncomfortable moments on Thanksgiving, particularly when the Boys played the Skins... my little brother was particularly obnoxious in his fandom, and regularly stepped on my last nerve...

But that led directly to one of the sweetest moments I ever had as a Cowboys fan, the infamous Clint Longley game... my granddad was even there that Thanksgiving, and though I don't think he was a Skins fan (I believe the Colts were his team), he seemed to enjoy joining in on the fun, giving me a particularly hard time...

The game didn't go well for the Cowboys for the longest time, then Staubach got hurt... and my family got positively medeival on me... I mean, it was beyond ugly, and I was at the point of saying "screw dinner, I'm outta here"...

It was so bad my Mom got pissed at the rest of the menfolk, and even my brother's son Michael (who is now my roommate, and still a Skins fan), who was 4 at the time, started pulling half-heartedly for the Boys... then Longley started chuckin' up bomb after bomb, and lo and behold, it WORKED...

When the final gun sounded, my Dad, Granddad and Ron all had these dazed looks, and they were just waiting for me to get some payback... I just smiled sweetly, clapped my hands together, and said "I'm HUNGRY, let's eat"...

Though I did full justice to that wonderful meal, the other men in my family didn't seem to have their usual appetites; at least, I know I took home more leftovers with me than I usually did... LOL...

Anyway, trust me when I say I know what it's like to have a brother so devoid of wit and taste that he'd root for the Skins...

it's not okay to think the way you scratch your balls between plays actually affects what happens on the field.

It doesn't??!?

Now what am I gonna do for a superstition?? For sure, anything else I come up with won't feel as good as that...

From Fox Sports rankings:

25 Commanders

We get it: Al Saunders has a playbook with 700 plays in it. That’s great. No, really it is. So, when do the ‘Skins plan on actually implementing any of it? After four lackluster preseason games and two pedestrian regular season ones, the Commanders' offense has looked less appetizing than a plate of spinach. The un-good kind.
