What kind of cap hit would we get if we traded a former 1st round pick? Or would there be any hit at all?

You'll need to provide a little more info than that. I mean, Terry Glenn was a first rounder years ago....;)

it would depend on the contract of the player - more specifically the signing bonus...

what player are you thinking?

I think we can trade Aikman without any cap hit in 2008 :D

Think it all depends on how the contract is structured. If your talking about someone like Roy, yes it would be a big hit. I believe he just signed a contract last year, so all his signing bonus would hit our cap next year.

We can't trade RW, his jersey sales are paying for the new stadium, why do you think he's changing his number...;)

So when you see old clips of him wearing #31 he won't be recognized?

A newer 1st rounder like carpenter or spears... not sure about spears but I think we should consider seeing what we could get for bobo:D
