Is it possible for you to just call your cable company, order their ******** sports package, have them turn it on, then call them up tomorrow and cancel it?

Unfortunately, not all cable companies offer NFLN, like Charter.

For many cable subscribers, that won't work. Cable has the option to offer NFL network w or w/o the live games. Many cable systems advertise NFLN, collect their fees, and then refuse to pay the up-charge to the NFL to carry these games.

Thus you get NFLN, just not when you really, really want to watch it.

thats where i am at...I called, and they just do not offer it. basteds!!!
