There is no question that when he's healthy and playing he's a playmaker and a difference maker.

The problem is that he simply can not stay on the field. So we have a playmaker who doesn't seem to ever be able to play.

I'm not familiar with the author of that crap piece, but the article struck me as being written by an ill-informed fan, rather than a well-informed journalist.

kinda the problem. any self-absorded wingnut can put up a cowboys related website, make it look pretty, and suddenly, wala, they're a writer.

the bell tolls and it tolls for sean lee?

4th grade called the writer. they want their creativity back.

Man, I love Sean Lee but the dude is make of freaking glass.............the team is moving him to the Will because he cant take the hits a MLB is exposed to in the NFL.

If he goes down again this season, I probably start looking for his replacement................he just might not have the body to play in the NFL.
So i guess then that means rolando mcclain who everyone seems 2 love is a spectical of healthiness, your assesment is tru but misleading you have no idea that by getting better at DT we can get some of the bigger guys off our lbs like sean "glass" lee as you like to call him...or rolando "headcase" mcclain...fact is sean lee is one of the better lbs in the NFL when healthy..players get hurt its part of the game..and fact is we are weak at DT position

Who else would you have leading this defense??....that you would seriously bench sean lee for??

m just going to echo common sense, bad writing, bad knowledge, its not even like how some are describing it, Lee isnt hurtng himself, his body cant take it. hes not doing it on purpose, he doesnt want to be off the field. his body cant handle it. and i have said this and said this and said this, the college game IS not the same as the pro game. Bodies cna handle their own hitting them, its another when one is designed to truck over you, or paid to take you out, or has the mentality to hit you with every fiber of their being.

its more his body than anything else

I dont think you really know what your implying...everyone gets hurt some play hurt or are forced to play hurt ..some are so valuable you cant play them even if its a minor injury risking everything for one game or season makes no sense...he is young and i expect him to have a good career in dallas, lee isnt like a normal player he is smart strong and has GREAT work ethic...our problems on defense isnt the fact that injuries occur its the fact that we have no depth due to the lack of attention the defense has been getting in the draft...but im guessing this changes this year..imho when u say " he cant handle the mlb spot" your way off base he can handle the spot he was born for the middle...our lack of depth around him was putting alot of responsability on his shoulders similar to Romo when we had a pathetic OL anyone with real sense of the matter knew this was not romos fault...just like everyone with sense knows lee will be beteter with more talent around him and as for injury...so mclain, durant, and lee are all softys..i dont think so

McClain is a headcase, not worth spending anything more than vet min on...............the team apparently shares my sentiment, rumors are we offered 750K on a take it or leave it deal.

As for Lee, MLB is too physical for him to play. That is probably why the team is moving him to the Will. Now if you noticed, I said "if" Lee gets hurt again this year it will be time to move on. If you cant stay healthy playing the WILL, the least physical of all the linebacker positions, then you just cant play in the NFL.

And if you cant stay healthy, you really should not be on the team.............Like Stephen Jones says, "you cant make the club in the tub".

would rather a headcase who can get on the field than a choir boy forever on the bench due to injury.

and lee has been where most of his time here in Dallas? You seem oblivious to reality.

and once again where has Lee spent most of his time here? You seem unable to tell the difference between someone who actually GETS ON THE FIELD and someone forever injured.

what he said!
I whole heartedly disagree he deserves this chance...unlike some on the roster....to say that he is never on the field is not giving him enough credit...the injury he had last year was really unfortunate, and almost unbelievable...when i heard the news a couldent believe it... but it happens....

Zero faith in Sean Lee - imagine Dez having to fight for his money -56 tds scored - while this stiff got handed a brink truck of cash - kinda reminds me of the great 22 sitting out while Aikman got an easy 50 million ..
