Romo accomplished many things during a solid career, but he lacks one critical component
Tony Romo is the third-best quarterback in the history of the Dallas Cowboys. That doesn't mean he's the nextCowboys quarterback who is heading to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. True, he does have more passing yards and touchdown passes than Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach. What he doesn't have is a Super Bowl ring, aSuper Bowl appearance or even the opportunity to say he played in an NFC Championship Game.

Romo did have a pretty impressive career, one that saw Dallas win 61.4 percent of the games he started. Unfortunately for him, the bar for Hall of Fame quarterbacks has been set pretty high. If you don't have a Lombardi Trophy or a bunch of significant league records, you simply aren't making the cut.

I'll take Eli and his two super bowl MVPs over Tony.

Seems like only the Romo jock sniffers think he's all-world. The rest of the world thought he was just good.

Again the Putz says Romo is a jag and then posts opinion pieces sayig he is just short of being a Hall of Famer.

And he thinks thats a win for his stupid Jag argument.

I would like to read anything pertaining to Oliver's questioning if it exists. My continuing impression is both Jones and Garrett maintained a verbal understanding with Romo that Prescott would remain as the starter.

The second assumption does not have merit in my opinion. If the Jones and Garrett did not wish Romo to possibly sustain injury, logically neither would have allowed Romo to play against the Eagles in the season's final game under any circumstances. In the sport of football and especially at the professional level, every player, including completely healthy players, are at risk of sustaining some degree of injury every snap. Romo was allowed to play a swan song drive despite this fact.

I’m sure there are some slobbering over Dak that are All In until the bitter end with him.

The more I think about it he’s actually a good fit with our Football Idiot and Puppet.
    God help us. Lol

Right . Romo was cleared to play. Some are just using his injuries as an excuse because surely they know Romo was the better QB when healthy.

More sure he'd get injured and miss more games is more realistic to assume. That hurt the team every game he missed. It's nice not have the same worries, if Prescott will get up from a hit.

You should always leave the best man in until he can’t go.

We finally had a great backup who could win in his absence.

'Romo-rooters'? Is that new? I have not read that one before.

Romo-rooters. Dak slobberers. We created the best nicknames here at CowboysZone :laugh:unless we stole them from off the site and not giving credit where credit is due!:p
