I'd ask that AFC team how they managed to get 5 first round picks and use that strategy for the next draft.

I wouldn't do it.

- Five 1st rounders would cost a fortune to sign.
- Out of five 1st rounders, two would be busts. High-paid busts.
- Out of the three non-busts, only one would become a true "impact player", but still probably not the level of impact of a monster like DeMarcus Ware.
- The other two non-busts would become solid starters.

So you'd be paying five guys 1st round money AND losing the best pass rusher in the game (and one of the best all-time) in his prime... in exchange for 1 impact player, 2 solid starters, and 2 busts.

Only way I'd do this is if the Cowboys were in rebuilding mode. But the way our roster looks now... no way.

I would do it. although ware at this pace will be a HOFer, you can get 5 first round picks, hit on 3 and get two more good ones out of it. like another 2 LBs, NT, LT, saftey/CB.

or trade a few for future picks and have multiple first round picks for several years.

It sounds like an Al Davis scenario, and that's completely within his realm of stupidity.

And my answer, in 90% of all drafts, I'd take the deal without hesitation.
